Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting the new Rock Creek Tavern location, eager to explore their revamped venue. and new menu. With high expectations in mind, I discovered that the new establishment not only met but exceeded my every expectation, making for an unforgettable experience.
As I stepped into the Rock Creek Tavern, I was immediately struck by its warm and inviting ambiance. The rustic yet modern decor created a cozy atmosphere.
The owner was an absolute delight and made our lunch experience enjoyable and memorable. We stopped for a casual lunch. We started with a homemade soup that was delicious.
The wings were crispy (just as we asked for) and moist. The pizza is truly one of the best we have had. We will definitely be back!

food was meh, expensive, but it was the only option near the place where we were staying at.

The new location is absolutely beautiful with a modern rustic setting. The food was scrumptious as always with outstanding customer service! The restaurant is impeccably clean and very comfortable and relaxing! My wife and I enjoyed lunch with a new variety of items to choose from on the menu. Love this place!!!!

Great homemade pizza with generous toppings. The dough is really flavorful too. The beer comes in 32 oz. Pours which is nice. The staff was friendly. There was no line.

The pizza here is good and it was done in 10 minutes. Got a have veggie and half cheese and mixed salad to go, everyone was happy. Has friendly service and they serve cocktails as well on the elevated outdoor deck. If you are in the area check this place out.

Very welcoming atmosphere. Easy to order, pizza came out extremely fast. The crust was delicious, the toppings were fresh, the cheese nice and bubbly.
Will gladly return the next time we are in the mountains and hungry for pizza. Might even try one of the sandwiches next time.

We stayed at Ferncliff for 2 nights while visiting the Rockies. This is the only restaurant right there that is open for dinner reliably and it was such a gem. The pizzas were delicious, they have a full menu if you fancy something else than pizza (burger, pasta, salads, apps, desserts, etc), and they have many drinks too (we got local brews from Estes). We ended up talking to the owner for 10 minutes at the end, she told us her story and what she has been doing with the place, great conversation. Highly recommend if you’e in that area!

We’ve eaten their pizza for years and it’s always been excellent. We ordered a meat pizza to go yesterday (sausage, canadian bacon and pepperoni) and while it was good sadly there was very little canadian bacon and no pepperoni on the pizza.

A group of 9 of us went to lunch here as a farewell to one of our coworkers who had started a new job. Alcohol selection was good. The woman who runs the place makes her own hard lemonade. The appetizers we got were phenomenal! Fries their own pork rinds, the brussel sprouts were delicious, and the crab stuffed mushroom were fantastic! The pizza is awesome, made fresh for you. We did have to wait for those because we ordered small, medium, and large. But she would bring a couple out, and it seems like she was back again with more! I was so glad the group decided to go here. If you are taking a group, it’s best to have a reservation.

Pizza is very good. I think k 42 dollars is a bit high, but in the mountains everything is higher. We took it as take out so weren’t in the restaurant
