We’re a 4th generation family owned pizza shop that has been in business since 1936. Our pizza shop is the oldest in the county and one of the oldest in the state of Ohio. We are located just blocks from downtown Dover and near part of the new waterfront pavilion area. Our pizza is made with high quality fresh ingredients and daily made dough while some of our recipes date back to the 1930s by our founder Paul Penso, an immigrant from Italy. Be sure to stop in and try some of our delicious pizza!

Good pizza but pricey. It never occurred to me just how pricey it was comparatively until i just visited new york city for the first time in a while and saw most places with authentic ny style being cheaper or about the same price as pensos back at home (and thats with a larger pizza and a higher cost of living). Again still a good option and my go to when i get pizza.

This tiny pizza shop is the best in Dover. Hands down, this is what pizza should taste like. Even the crust is dang good. Moved to Dover in Sept and have been trying to find decent pizza and finally found it at the corner of Front and Race St. There is a reason they are around from 1936.
