Quiet sleeper of a brunch restaurant in Dayton. Staff is super sweet and attentive without being overbearing. The portions are large, so come prepared either with an empty stomach or ready to split a dish. Highly recommend the PNW salmon toast (think, smoked salmon bagel but a PNW twist) and the farmhouse breakfast. The lamb burger was a little dry but amazing flavor. Overall, great meal!

Ate here for the first time today, a Monday brunch. Food and service were excellent. I cannot wait to come back to try other dishes and bring more friends to show them how great it is!
There was only one server (didn’t catch her name) who was also the bartender, hostess, busser, and phone attendant. She was excellent! Please give her a raise for her kindness, patience and calmness under pressure.

Amazing hidden gem! If you’re looking for a delicious small town farm to table experience, come here. The food was the best I’ve had in a long time, service was great. My husband and I got one of each the specials – fried chicken and French toast and waygu steak and eggs and both were incredible. We will make the hour drive to come back!

Ive been to Loam a few times in the last year or two, and every time it’s a brand new experience. I love how the menu is always unique, encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone and try something new. The most recent time I visited, I had the Salmon, which was delicious, but Chef Corey noticed I had no lemon and immediately sent me some from the kitchen! Loam is a beautiful place as well- the staff is so polite, and it’s just always welcoming. I am sure if you decide to go here, you’ll enjoy it as much as I have and will continue to! Thanks again to the Loam staff and chef Corey! ❤️

Exceptional quality, hand sourced ingredients and scratch-made recipes. We’re so grateful to have heard of LOAM through a friend’s recommendation —well worth the trek from Salem, we’re excited to become regulars.
Thoughtful, relaxed, and sophisticated, the atmosphere is rich, cozy, and inviting.
While the photo does no justice to the presentation, pictured here is a seasonal brunch special; a foraged mushroom Benedict with the most perfectly creamy & crispy potatoes imaginable. My latte was delicious and beautiful,… although I was secretly eyeing the beautiful espresso martinis at a neighboring table!
Service was joyful and lovely—we’re already looking forward to next time!

This is an exceptional restaurant! Well worth the stop when in Willamette. The chilequiles were perfect, great flavor and just the right mix of soft and crunch. The potatoes are perfectly crisped and they even make their own ketchup! Didn’t even take pictures before we started eating, but this is a definite destination here!

An attractive atmosphere with a simple menu made up of several local ingredients. Higher end for the area but on par with some of the top breakfast spots in the Portland Metro. A great find!

The portions are standard. They’ve done a great job seasoning the dish. Don’t come here expecting a huge plate. Items like jam are an $2 extra. Personally, I’d find a way to work that in to the overall plate costs as a restaurant Owner as it comes off petty to me. Yes, I know everyone doesn’t like jam. Not everyone likes ketchup either and they aren’t charging for that.

All said, it’s a cool spot. Go check it out.

Loam is a true gem—we loved it so much, we went twice in one day for both brunch and dinner, and each meal was outstanding.

At brunch, the veggie sandwich stood out for its perfect balance—light, flavorful, and wonderfully crunchy. Paired with the muffin special, which had a unique and delicious flavor combination, and a great cup of coffee, it made for a memorable start to the day.

Dinner was equally impressive. The salmon and clams were cooked to perfection—fresh, tender, and full of depth. To top it off, the panna cotta was smooth, delicate, and the perfect end to the meal.

Loam delivers on every front: fresh ingredients, creative dishes, and flawless execution. Highly recommended for any time of the day.

Great brunch options, delicious flavors, beautiful space. Right across from the park if you need to kill some time. I was seated right away at peak lunch time on a Saturday but I could see this spot getting packed at this time on a sunny day.

An absolute treasure of a restaurant. If you’re looking for a quality date night, excellent meal or fabulous coffee/cocktail Loam should be on the must try list. It’s located in a quaint town near wine country and is truly a hidden gem. The owners are very involved not only in their restaurant but their local community as well. They partner with local small businesses, farmers and wine makers to ensure they’re serving up the best. Truly you have to go twice as there weekend brunch and dinners are something you won’t want to miss.
