Donuts are fresh. Store is clean. Family owned business with donuts made at the store. I got a mixed bakers dozen for 10.00. Various beverages including fresh coffee which my dad declared the best in town. People are friendly. Places to sit and chat. There is no outside seating. Entrance does not have a step so easy access for walkers,chairs and strollers. Open early so for best selection go early or call ahead and place order.

Recently tried the mochi doughnuts and they were really good, nice and crispy on the outside, kind of flakey, and the inside was nice and stretchy with a pleasant chewy-ness; think Mochi if you’ve ever had it! The owner (I believe) explained that they were still tweaking the process and hopefully they’ll get the size sorted out, because they were a bit small. I tried green tea and strawberry, and both were very good. Hope I get to stop back in in a few months and see some big, beautiful, exotic Asian flavor mochi doughnuts! We also had blueberry and chocolate doughnuts and they tasted fantastic.

After reading reviews I decided to give them a try. I went shortly after 5 am since most reviews said they sale out early and I wanted fresh donuts. I was rather unimpressed with the amount of selection. I was also unimpressed when I took my first bite into a donut. It did not taste fresh what so ever, more like the end of a day left over donut that had sat in the case going stale. The only good thing I can say is the amount of filling in the donut was more than expected. Thankfully I only got a couple and the other was just as stale tasting on the first bite and both wound up in the trash. 🙁

I got 1donut and 2 Bismarck’s, not a balance of flavor but just overwhelming sugary taste. Worst donuts I’ve ever had, and ridiculous price at that. $4.50 for 3 donuts that were subpar.
