I flew into the mall of America in hopes of trying something new, I feel like this place well accomplished that. As I was walking around the food court, I did notice a few other authentic restaurants, with the only major turn off being no menu or prices to indicate what was being served. That led me to settle on Little Tokyo. The woman who took my order was really nice, she recommended me other items but I insisted on just the meal. With that. I got the #3 including, Shrimp, Fried Rice, and Steamed Vegetables, all for the price of 11.97$. I was surprised when I saw the portions, the styrofoam was filled with food all the way to the brim, definitely worth the price. As soon as I found a place to sit, I enjoyed my meal and was pleased with the quality of my meal. The food was all fresh, the Shrimp, Rice, And Vegetables all being hot as it was just off the grill. Considering the mall of America tends to be on the pricey side especially when it comes to food, I’d recommend eating here, you get a big portion, and it’s affordable to feed a big family, or just yourself.

The lady has the worst attitudeoroblem ever. I have had this food before and it was tasty and the customer service was phenomenal. Today not so. Good was garbage for $15+. When I went over as a pleasant customer to tell her, she brushed me off and didn’t address what I was saying to her. I will NEVER come back here. Don’t come here.

Had to ask for my food to be remade due to them not covering the food right away and tall man was talking over my food. There delivery system is not ideal, I didn’t know that it was my food at first. Then after he made me a new plate the [cook] put shrimp on it while I am standing there my glucose level falling and am getting hungry as heck. I was telling him that I wanted beef and chicken then this lady comes over telling me beef cost another dollar when I ordered and prepaid she was just thinking I am black so I just had chicken and was trying to get free beef. I said go back to your side and mind your own business. The nerve of Them when I am paying for this salty as hell food. First time in years eating food there but it’s not good enough to go back.

One of the best value eateries at the mall. The base price is reasonable starting at $13. The best parts? They will surprise you with the amount of food they put into your Styrofoam. It will be enough to make you bust out like Lil Uzi Vert from Just Wanna Rock with “damn! Dammnnn”

The food is piping hot and fresh off the grill which makes it better than Panda Express or other places where the food sits in a metal tray for Lord knows how long.

People are funny. They eat at an American mall eatery (named Mall of America at that) and expect the food to be exactly like what they had in Japan and compare it so. Newsflash, you are not in Japan. You are in Minnesota, take it easy.

Decided to give this spot a try, all employees were really welcoming and got my order just right. I highly recommend the teriyaki chicken. The cream cheese wontons are delicious. Will definitely be back again soon.

Counter lady can appear to be rude, especially if English is not your first language. Even I had a hard time understanding her pronunciation, behind a mask, in a semi-shouting manner. The cooks were also tough to understand. Perhaps a degree in sign language is required. Food (teriyaki fried rice) portion was large but then again you’re paying about $12 each. Beef was good. The teriyaki seasoning was OK. Rice was not good and in Japan it would be thrown out. (Note: we lived in Japan almost six years)Too hard n dry. See pics.

This is one of the better values at the mall. A LOT of food and it tastes great!

I’ve been getting lunch from here occasionally for the past year, and it has always been great and a large portion. I went here for dinner once and my experience was the same.

The pic I’m posting is the day they had chicken and shrimp lunch special for $10.50, normally $11.50.

I read some of the previous 1 star reviews, and they all seem to be from a while ago, or they were about the customer service. I haven’t had a bad experience with the employees, it’s basically fast food, my interactions are less than 30 seconds.

I had the #6 beef and shrimp. Both were well done. I received quite a bit of meat which was my favorite part. It was pretty cheap for the amount of food that I received. The one thing I would change was the taste of the rice, it wasn’t flavorful and didn’t taste very good. The veggies that came with the meal were tasty. I think I’d get it again, I wonder if they’d switch out the yellow rice for plain white rice.

Quick good food! They cooked the meat fresh on the grill and the rice and vegetables were ready to go. Great price too!
