I visited on August 10, 2025. I still think shrimp shells should only be on the tails. The way the cheese is perfectly melted in is amazing! The garlic flavor is just right—not too strong. The shrimp pasta is an outstanding dish, and it even comes with a salad and pineapple! If you come to Oahu, you definitely have to try it at least once!

The combo shrimp plate was right around $20 which is a price you’d only expect to pay in Hawaii. It’s worth the experience as it’s not something you’d spend on the mainland. There are several shrimp trucks along the road but this one is great. There wasn’t a long line and there are tables to sit down. I enjoyed the famous garlic shrimp and coconut shrimp plate and liked that it came with a small salad and a piece of pineapple.

We were actually trying to go to another shrimp truck but it was too crowded with no available parking at all. Luckily we stopped by at Camaron’s shrimp truck which is right next to a big plaza with plenty of parking. The garlic shrimp was very delicious and service was extremely friendly so we decided to leave this review for more people to discover this place. Two thumbs up!

We didnt want to wait at Giovanni’s so we thought we would try a different shrimp truck. The food here looks pretty and the shrimp truck people are very nice. They sell peeled shrimps. In my opinion the flavor is not as tasty as Giovanni’s shrimps.

The shrimp was pretty decent. The garlic sauce on top of the rice was great. The corn was alright. The salad was pretty good. It’s a decent truck to stop at while you’re on the north shore. The lady taking the order was super friendly, so that was awesome. We got there right before it got crowded. We parked maybe a minute down the road and walked up. There’s a handful of tables to sit at, with umbrellas. Definitely get there early.

Great place to stop for lunch. We always love to try out new food trucks. The shrimp combo meal was amazing. Had fun sitting outside on the picnic benches and watching the chickens and roosters entertain us. Definitely worth a try!
