Ordered eye fillet, rack of ribs and the venison. Eye fillet was overcooked while the ribs had tender and hard meats. Venison was tender and ok. Waiter service was good.

Had dinner here as we wanted steak. Seeing the 4.8 google rating, we were looking forward to it. Unfortunately the quality for the cuts of meat just didn’t meet that 4.8 rating. It could be the way they cooked the cuts but it was a bit tough and wasn’t juicy. My ribeye was cooked medium rare as requested but my partners were a bit undercooked. He also got his steak medium rare but half of his steak was more on the rare side rather than medium rare. Not sure how that happened, like half the grill wasn’t hot?
The staff were really nice and helpful but (the took half of my partners back to the kitchen to get it cooked more to medium rare) unfortunately the food has let down our experience.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at PJ’s Bar & Grill – Remarkables Park, Queenstown!
I visited with my family and from the moment we arrived, everything was spot on. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food was simply outstanding. Our meals were beautifully presented, full of flavour, and The drinks selection was great, and the desserts were the perfect finish — fresh, indulgent, and absolutely delicious.
What really stood out for us was how well the team catered for my daughter’s allergy requirements. The staff were knowledgeable, careful, and genuinely caring, which gave us complete peace of mind and made our visit stress-free and enjoyable.
It’s not easy to find a place that nails great food, great service, and family-friendly care all in one — but PJ’s did exactly that. We’ll definitely be back and will happily recommend this place to anyone visiting Queenstown.

I was craving steak and decided to try this place since it was close to my accommodation—and it turned out to be a relatively good experience. I ordered two ribeye steaks, which each came with a side and a sauce. I chose the sweet potato fries and mashed potatoes, along with chimichurri and mushroom sauces. Everything was delicious, and I ended up finishing it all.
I also ordered the rocket salad, which was the only dish that I did not like and it was quite disappointing. It had oddly cut pear pieces—some were wedges, others thin slices—which made the texture of the dish inconsistent. There also wasn’t enough rocket in the mix.
Overall, a satisfying meal with great steak and sides, but the salad could use some improvement.

Severely disappointed with the meal and especially the kids menu. The food came on a wooden chopping board and kids steak and chicken was so small it was a joke. Barely larger than an edamame bean. Sirloin and rib eye steaks were served raw and had to be sent back. Overall – the worse restaurant in Queenstown. Staff suggested if they served larger portion they would have to charge more. We had to order another main meal just to feed the kids. Ridiculous.

Surprisingly this resto serves the best lamb rump I’ve ever tasted in my life! Tender, juicy, cooked just right to the temperature and flavourful! We also had the chowder which was warming on a cold night! Shrimp cocktail was unexpectedly fresh as today as I’m writing this review we’re in Melbourne at seafood resto and NOTHING tasted right yet cost triple of the meal here! This place is worth a go! Another mention is staff was super courteous patient and nice unlike the staff at today’s resto which I will post a review soon

I was blown away by the incredible service at PJ’s. They were very busy so made sure to warn us prior to being seated that there would be a wait time, which we were ok with. They then provided to us a free drink each, and a free dessert to share, to make up for the wait. I have never had such a great hospitality experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone.
We loved the mushroom arancini starter the most, it was delicious.

We recently visited and had an exceptional dining experience. The dishes were incredibly fresh, and the Aged Sirloin steak was cooked to perfection. The accompanying Sauce chimichurri was a delightful surprise and elevated the steak’s flavor. The Best Rib ever, was a must-try; it was generously portioned and tasted absolutely delicious coming with gochujang sauce. For dessert, both the Cheese cake and Tiramisu were equally impressive and a sweet end to a satisfying meal. The male receptionist was warm and attentive, but special praise goes to the Japanese female waitress who took our order – she was professional, cute, and provided impeccable service. Overall, it was a highly satisfying dining experience, and we would definitely recommend Pj’s Bar& Grill to others who visit Queenstown.

The food was really exceptional. We were pleasantly surprised when we tasted the food and drinks. Jude served us and recommended us dishes based on our requests and he was very detailed going about it! Service was prompt and the other waiters including Jude was on the ball.
