Absolutely wonderful service from Luis. We didn’t know what to order, so he surprised us with two fantastic drinks and an amazing snack board prepared by the chef, Ivan. It was so good that we sent our compliments to the chef and he personally came to our table to greet us. What a wonderful experience! Such nice service that I would return everyday until we leave San Miguel. Wow

I needed to find a place to watch the Super Bowl whilst visiting San Miguel de Allende . I found and made a reservation at this Restaurant . We were seated at arrival by the hostess , Avi our waitress was very attentive and helpful and all the food was great .
I loved the spicy margarita and the Paloma . The steaks looked amazing . Worth trying this place if you are visiting .

Great place to visit. It’s a must see. The cathedrals there are amazing, and tours are recommended to see the historical places. Mexico is amazing, beautiful and real freedom. Beautiful people, safe, amazing delicious food, and plenty to do. Happy travels.

The drinks were great. I will say my husband and got super sick right afterwards. We had pasta. He had pesto and I had the cuatro quesos. The chicken was way overcooked and was very rubbery. We also had the Aguachile. It tasted good but not sure if that is what made us sick.

When ordering we were asked if we were ready and we were however we had just one question while ordering and the waiter cut us off mid sentence to tell us that he would give us more time to order and rushed to walk away. It was rude and presumptuous to walk away when servers are supposed to help customers decide. Remember its our first time there. They didnt return for a long time. I wish I would have read the reviews about the servers being inefficient and uninterested because that was exactly my experience. After returning what felt like close to 20 minutes after his first approach without ordering anything. I attempted to just get water but this seemed to confuse the server, in almost any restaurant I’ve ever been to that charges these prices have at least had complimentary water. After asking he asked me if i wanted natural or sparkling with a bad attitude. Then with or without ice. After settling on natural and iced He still tried to convince me to have flavored water after telling me a list of flavors which seemed to be a big effort for him. Then asked if I wanted a mocktail or juice because at this point it was obvious I wasn’t getting that water no matter how hard I tried. So chose a flavor and said it directly to him and he repeated to ask as if he wasn’t even paying attention. When I asked who I was with if they heard me ask for water and saying maracuya they told me they heard me so I know I was clear about what I wanted. When the food arrived the meat in the tacos arrived cold and chewy. Towards the end as he reached over my shoulder to grab my plate he spoke under his breath by my ear and walked away, being caught off guard I let it go. My biggest disappointment was the service and being rude walking away as soon as the first question we had was asked, especially because it was towards my company. Second the inefficient process of ordering with long waits. Third was speaking under his breath in my ear. And finally the view was obstructed by huge planters and heating towers. Last time I’ll go there. I suggest the servers conduct themselves with more grace and empathy. I hope you use this opportunity to make serious changes to your staff, training etc. The poor service, bad attitude and high prices will effect those trying to have a nice night and enjoy what they eat. Or at least improve service. Maybe others may not notice all the subtle micro aggressions, but I certainly did. In the end All I wanted was water and my company only had one question on the menu. I wish I remembered the waiters name however I’m more concerned others don’t have the same poor experience. In advance I don’t know if things will change so please don’t patronize me with a response as if it will because i won’t be returning to find out. All together my trip was magnificent excluding this restaurant.

Everything about Tres Marias was great, from the welcome to the service. The terrace was so inviting and the entire staff made sure we were happy. The sunset view was also stunning. They offered 2 for 1 drinks (a decent selection) and beers. The steaks were a healthy portion, with accompaniments at around 120mxn each, in addition to the steak price between 500 and 700+. Thank you to the entire staff for making our evening pleasurable!!!

Went for lunch. Food was ok. Portions are large. Ordered ceviche which was only ok. Also ordered 3 marias tacos. The ribeye meat was too well done for my taste but was otherwise quite tasty. I thought the music was a bit too loud. Service however took way too long in spite of the place being pretty empty. Ceviche took one hour to serve and tacos took another .30 minutes. Serving staff were friendly and attentive

4 of us dined. For the prices they charge you would expect 5 star service and food. Chicken was dry. Wrong pasta dish was brought out but my friend ate it. Steak and lasagna were verrrrrry good. Although waiter came back after taking order to tell us several steaks were not available. Including first one ordered.
Had to hunt down waiter for pepper. Really not attentive. Again, for prices paid you expect service. The night before we ate at a much better restaurant where service and food were over the top and it cost a little less.
Atmosphere is very nice. But what’s atmosphere when service and food are subpar.
Maybe they need a 4th or 5th Maria to fix things.
