I’m at a complete loss for words.. this place was AMAZING!! Customer service was top tier. The woman was so attentive and helpful. This was my first time trying African food and it was delicious. Khadijah, the hookah specialist, consistently delivers perfectly prepared hookah and truly understands the craft. We ordered the Attieke / Snapper Grilled. The presentation was nice, the seasoning on snapper was tasty. We also had the African Garden salad, sorry so picture we ate it too quick, it was enough yo share . You must visit this place if you are curious about trying African cuisine or craving it. I highly recommend. The decor inside was very nice, however with the weather being so nice we opted to sit on the patio and it was great. Tiffany was our waitress, she was very nice and helpful when we had questions about the menu items. Thanks for making our first time visit memorable.

Let’s talk drinks. My wife’s Mojito? Fresh enough to make a mint farm jealous —bright, crisp, and dangerously sippable. As for me, I channeled my inner North Sider with the infamous Blue Motherfer Cocktail*—yes, that’s the actual name, and yes, it delivered a punch like the last 5 seconds of a Bulls game.
Food-wise, we were living the dream. My wife went all-in with the Liberian Dry Ice Fried Tilapia—smoky, dramatic, and oh-so-savory, it made every bite feel like an entrance at the Met Gala . I tackled the Rib Eye Steak with Fried Plantains, and let me just say: if steak had a fan club, I’d be president. Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seared, it danced beautifully with the sweet, golden plantains .
Bottom line: the food? Amazing. The drinks? Next-level. Grecia? A legend in her own right. If you want flavor, flair, and flawless service, ask for Grecia—she’s not just behind the bar; she is the bar.

I went to Afrique D Lounge on Easter Sunday (4/20), and let me tell you 10/10/10. The vibes were immaculate from start to finish. They had a $25 bottomless mimosa special, and it was well worth it.
The customer service was top-tier something I haven’t experienced in a long time. I want to give a special shoutout to Vicky and Tiffany for their amazing energy and attention to detail. What really stood out to me was the owner himself (Jerry) stepping in to help. He greeted us, served us, checked on us, and made sure everything was perfect. That level of care speaks volumes.
If you haven’t been to Afrique D Lounge yet, you’re missing out. I’ll definitely be back!

I’m not happy with my experience ordering from this establishment last night. I called to inquire about the shish kebabs wanting to confirm if the order would include 1 or 2 prior to ordering. The girl I spoke with told me that 1 is normally $10 so she “assumes” my order would include 2 for the price of $20. She herself sounded unsure but based off her word I went ahead and proceeded with my order of $50+. I only received one shish kebab when the order was delivered. I called again and the same girl proceeded to tell me that doordash fees is what made that one shish kebab $20. What kind of doordash fees would make one shish kebab cost that much after you had just told me that they are $10 per shish kebab so I should expect to receive 2? She was very misleading and incorrect with her false information and excuses. I had to go through doordash to resolve the issue. It’s absolutely absurd that this establishment provides misleading information and thinks its okay to charge $20 for one I repeat one shish kebab. Please do better and adjust your prices accordingly instead of overcharging and lying to paying customers.

Apparently I ordered vegan spinach because usually there a good amount of chicken and turkey but tonight one very tiny piece of turkey, spinach and a bath of oil. This is obviously intentional because how did you not see that there was no meat as you prepared the meal for delivery ?!!!!

Sometimes my mom and I want a break from cooking our traditional dishes. While looking for a Liberian food spot we came across this place so we had to check it out. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and told to sit anywhere we wanted. The server was nice and took our orders seamlessly. About 15 min later, we got out our food. We ordered the Palava sauce w/ rice and palm butter with fufu to eat there and the fried chicken & jollof rice to take home. The 2 meals we ate at the restaurant were delicious. Good portions and flavorful with a nice kick.
When we got home, we tried the fried chicken and jollof rice. It was a huge piece of fried chicken; I wish it was more seasoned it was a bit on the bland side. The rice was cooked well and had a nice kick of spice. I will be back to try more items off their menu!

This was an experience like no other. My server niyah, and I did ask how to spell her name cause she deserved recognition, was amazing. She kept us informed and brought us drinks and hookah so fast. The food was delicious and the owner Jerry was a pleasure to speak with as well. The food and service truly was one of a kind I will be back for sure! This is not a fast food experience, everything is fresh and more then worth the wait.
