Last night was my first night trying Champ Pizza. I thought it was pretty good especially for the price point. I ordered a half pepperoni, half Hawaiian, lite sauce and thick crust. It was good. The size was perfect. We did ask for tomatoes on the side and didn’t get them, or spouse forgot to grab them. But overall, I’ll definitely be back.

Champ Pizza? More like Chump Pizza. The woman behind the counter was a bit rude when she greeted my partner and I, threw the pizza on the counter when we said we had a pickup order. They didn’t even cut the pizza and the bottom was a bit burnt. I wouldn’t recommend coming here!

I spent $30 on takeout yesterday, and ordered a half & half large pepperoni and pine pie – one side was dairy-free. They give you the option to add unlimited toppings at no extra cost—made my pizza kinda HEFTY!

I might have said some negative things about Champ’s in the past—but yesterday, that pizza made up for it all. I would come back here and spend $30 again, on any day of the week for that same pizza.

Dough 10/10

First time eating Champs and thought it was great pizza and a fair price. So good that I barely had time to snap a few pictures lol…

The cheesy bread sticks were delicious, definitely one of the best ones we’ve eaten for a while.

Keep in mind we have children so the pizza slices were cut in half on the cheese bread and Detroit pizza.

I ordered an ultimate pepperoni pizza on DoorDash having it delivered. When it got to my house. It was a cheese pizza with nothing else on it. When I called champs about it. The guy in the phone is really nice and said that he would gladly make another pizza for me and then I could come pick it up. Even though I was frustrated about the fact that I had to drive to go get the pizza now I chose to do that. On my way to pick up the pizza. I get another call from a gal named Abigail. Who was very condescending in caddy over the phone. She said that I had marked the wrong boxes in DoorDash and that I marked to have no pepperoni and no Parmesan cheese on my ultimate pepperoni pizza. I don’t know about you guys. But I don’t know anybody who would order an ultimate pepperoni pizza which cost a little extra by the way and ask to take the pepperonis off. Makes no sense in the world at all. This Gal continued to tell me that she could not remake the pizza because I checked the wrong boxes in DoorDash, which the DoorDash boxes are ambiguous and I thought that I was checking boxes to put pepperoni on my whole pizza not take it off. My mistake on that. However, the first guy, I talked to promised me a new pizza. She continued to tell me how I would not get a new pizza. She even called the district manager who then told me that I could have another pizza if I paid 50% for it. Even though I was promised another pizza for free because of the mixup. This company does not honor their word. They have a little integrity and no customer service skills at all. The pizza has been good in the past, but I will not choose to eat pizza from here ever again. Not a good experience at all. Someone also needs to train Abigail on some customer service skills. She is very condescending and not compassionate about her customers at all in my opinion. Thanks for reading my review.

This place has really gone downhill recently. The last three times I’ve ordered from here have been terrible.

The first bad experience was when the pizza wasn’t ready when it was supposed to be. I showed up to pick up my pizza after the stated ready time and it still wasn’t finished. When I told the gentleman that it should have been done, his response was, “Well, what do you want me to do about it?”

The next time, I ordered a pizza with a delayed pickup time because I couldn’t get there right away. About 15 minutes later, I received a notification saying the pizza was already done. It wasn’t even supposed to have started yet, let alone be finished. By the time I arrived, the pizza had been sitting in their warmer for over half an hour. It was overcooked and hard by the time we ate it.

The last time was fine in terms of timing. We ordered online and it was ready when we picked it up. The problem was the pizza itself, it was overcooked, hard, and clearly had been sitting in the warmer for far too long. The crust was chewy and tough. It almost seemed like the pizza was pre-made and just thrown in the oven.

Needless to say, we’re done with this place. They were good when they first opened, but they’ve gone downhill badly.

Ordered 2 medium cheese pizzas a little bit ago and they were just comically bad. Haphazardly cut, multiple cuts all over the place, looked internationally mangled. Then, both pizzas had massive bubbles all over them with no cheese whatsoever or sauce. Was totally robbed of 35$.

If you’re looking for an amazing new breakfast idea, look no further than Champ Pizza. They just started rolling out some new breakfast items. I had a Breakfast Crustini Wrap. It was filled with sausage gravy, bacon, eggs and cheese. Then topped with cheese before it runs through the oven. It was an absolute explosion of delicious flavors. You definitely won’t regret coming to try it.

The pizza was definitely 5 ⭐️
Crust was delish! Cheesy breadsticks were undercooked and smaller than expected for the price. Asked for extra cook on the wings, didn’t get that. Wings were underwhelming.
Delivery driver was friendly and helpful. Will try again!

This is my third time coming into this location, so this review is about my whole experience. On my first visit, I went inside to order. The owner helped me. He was a nice, made conversation, took my order, and made the pizza. It was perfect (I didn’t take a photo). At this point I was excited to have found a pizza spot that wasn’t a huge chain.

On my second visit I ordered ahead and when I got there it took about 3-4 minutes to get help even though there was five people including the owner in the back talking/ standing around and making pizza (I was the only customer). Eye contact was made by one of the young people working there, but he didn’t help me or signal anyone that they had a customer. While I was standing there waiting, I saw that young person put his bare hand into a pile of dry dough, then shake his hand off right back onto the pile. I attempted to say hello a couple of times, but no response. Eventually, someone helped me and gave me my pizza. This time I got their vegetarian pizza (took a photo) it was good but I was reluctant since seeing that kid put his hand in the dough.

On my third visit I got their Hawaiian pizza which is what I got the first time(this time I have a photo and video). Again I ordered ahead but this time, when I got there, someone helped me right away, and I was in and out within a minute. The pizza itself tastes good, but all the toppings were in the center of the pizza. When I tore apart a slice, it just fell apart.

At this time I’m not going to write off this location. I feel they have their flavor down, this location just needs work on their customer service, quality control, and safe food handling practices.
