We’ll definitely be back — it’s easy to see why Stack’d has become a local favorite!
Let see, the burger was juicy which is a huge win! What caught me off guard was how they toasted the bun. Like I have had toasted buns but this had a perfect buttery crunch to it without being over toasted to where it would scrape your mouth. The spicy chili sauce is amazing! Reminds me of a place I used to go to in college.
The fries were legit! I was a bit concerned looking at them because it looked like A LOT of seasoning, which it was but wasn’t a heavy salt base so it wasn’t overly salty. It was just right! The fried zucchini was a good change up and almost tasted like fried pickles. I do think the pickles they use for their burgers would be pretty amazing fried as well!
The only thing I didn’t like was the inside had office vibes. Hopefully that will change in time. I think an art mural on the south wall would really liven up the place! I mean it’s a burger joint, it’s supposed to be a laid back fun atmosphere. I don’t want to feel like I’m eating in the break room. It’s not a deal breaker, I think it could just be spruced up a bit more.
Will be back here for sure! It was a bit more than what I like to spend on burgers but rent is stupid these days. So I get it. Plus we left full. So I got my money’s worth.
I got the double bacon cheeseburger. While it was very fresh and delicious 14.5 bucks is quite a number for a cheeseburger with nothing else included. A standard 20oz drink brings it to over $18; no fries today. The good news is the burger was so delicious I only had time to take a picture of my empty tray, and I’ll admit it filled me just about right. Here’s to hoping they can bring their prices of some items down to more accessible levels in the future.
Something funny I realized after I left is this used to be a Subway and I worked at that subway in 2018. So that felt a bit odd
