Decided to eat here during our 1 night stay in Harrogate and what a great choice it was. Very nice staff, tasty quality food for starters and mains and lovely atmosphere and service. Really had nothing to fault about this restaurant.

New Year’s Eve is always going to be difficult. Every guest knows it and every restraunter should be prepared. Part of our experience may just be that FISK couldn’t get it right, on the night, but there seem to be other problems.
It was an hour from arrival before getting drinks – water and a bottle of wine. The mocktail didn’t arrive until starters had been served.
A menu where chili ️ is in the “plum sauce”, but no indication on the menu. When asked if it could be replaced, it was “heated up” and brought back. Food was interesting, but “monkfish” was replaced by cod.
A feeling that FISK was overbooked. ‘Rammed’ might be a better description. Always tempting to get in as many covers as possible on a busy night, but then there should be enough staff.

A mixed bag. For a restaurant that is meant to be on the premium side, and tells you about it with loud Moet champagne branding, tables were left dirty and toilets were very basic (appreciate the restaurant is in an old building). However, the food is very good. We questioned whether our king prawns were madras and monkfish was massaman (both tasted like Thai red curry) but still thoroughly enjoyed the unique offering. The setting just needs to match the food in quality.

Went here for my birthday last night. Was a shame … starters great.. but sent my main course back twice as it was barely warm…. I went for the Lobster Biryani and the taste was great… in the third time of asking they just put the dish in a hot bowl…. Refused that as an acceptable replacement.

Amazing AMAZING food! My husband and I stumbled across FISK on our first visit to Harrogate. We got the scallops and cod tikka to start and the king prawn pad Thai and monkfish massaman for mains. All food was impeccable, our waiter was lovely, and the prices were very reasonable.
We would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Harrogate!

We went here last night for our wedding anniversary and had a fabulous evening in a perfect atmosphere. The food was superb and the staff especially Harvey were brilliant. Overall a great place to go for a Special occasion if you want to impress your partner.

I don’t know why I expected there to be authentic food that is actually true to the names of the menu. It’s not bad it just doesn’t meet expectations especially when they say the chef is originally from Bangkok. Singapore chilli crab with canned crab meat and tastes nothing like how it should, nor does it look like the photos the restaurant themselves posted on Instagram. Service is fine.

Beautiful classy & elegant place in Harrogate unlike any other restauran here. The food was amazing, really great quality & generous portion sizes. We had the scallops and teriyaki salmon followed by monkfish curry and king prawn yellow curry and everything was just so delicious. Even my partner who has high standards for food thought it was superb!! Would definitely come back again – and we rarely say that about many restaurants locallly 🙂 thank you so much !!
