Floyd’s is located in the Windsor Hotel and offers a really nice atmosphere with outdoor seating overlooking the town of Americus. The drinks were excellent, the food very good and the service was OK. They were hosting a couple very large private events and I think that interfered with us getting great service. Otherwise, they would have gotten five stars and I would not hesitate to recommend this place. In fact, I look forward to coming back and hopefully they will do better next time.

Years ago dining at The Windsor was a wonderful experience. Now it’s a waiting game. My friends and I dined at Floyd’s recently. We were seated outside immediately. We waited 20-25 minutes and no one checked on us. We walked to the bar to order a drink and were told we couldn’t and someone would come take our order. We had to ask for someone to get our drink orders multiple times. After 15 more minutes, we finally had our drink orders taken. We asked 3 times for menus after receiving our drinks. We were there at least an hour before our food order was taken. The wait staff act annoyed when we asked for anything. This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I receive better service at the Waffle House. I spoke to a friend whose son worked there last year. He told his mom he received NO training, guidance or any sort of direction on how to wait tables. No standard of service at all.

Ashley was an amazing server! She was incredibly helpful, very accurate with our order, and made sure everything came out exactly right. Her pleasant attitude and attention to detail really stood out and made our experience even better. She was friendly, professional, and checked on us just the right amount. We’ll definitely be asking for Ashley again!

I hate to say that our last couple of experiences at Floyd’s have been very disappointing, but this last one was horrible. It took around 30 minutes to even order our drinks. After we ordered the food, it took a while to come to us and the appetizer we ordered first came out after we had finished our entrees. Once we got our checks we were handed VERY dirty check holders and our card was then lost (I know this is no one’s fault, but it just added to the already bad experience) We love to eat local, but we will not be returning.

The absolute WORST service I have ever experienced. I used to work in the service industry at some main line high end restaurants, I don’t take pleasure in this review but enough is enough and last night was too much. As a server, you’re chasing tips and trying to go above and beyond to take care of your people and make them happy. Some people just don’t need to be servers and that’s okay, it’s not for everyone. Our server CULLEN was one of these people, a buffoon, he didn’t check our drinks once. We were there for my wifes birthday figured we would go somewhere nice for the evening. We were a 4 top table, we all ordered hamburgers and an appetizer of pickle chips. We waited an hour for 3 of the 4 hamburgers and the sever brought the pickle chips out at the same time as the 3 burgers. The pickle chips were ice and the burgers were lukewarm they had been sitting for a bit, probably done at minimum 20 min earlier. Our 4th guest didn’t get their hamburger until we had all finished and CULLEN the “server” brought out a to-go box for it and said he gave us a 20% discount. Laughable, you messed up that bad and you didn’t at least comp the one burger? Even if the kitchen was having problems, I sincerely doubt it was all on them given CULLEN the “server” didn’t check on us once and the fact the appetizer was forgotten about, I guarantee he forgot the 4th burger because he didn’t write anything down. They were not busy, 3 other small tables on the balcony that night with another server out there assisting.
For a “quality” restaurant at a very beautiful hotel this kind of behaviors just unacceptable. We would have possibly got a birthday desert but decided against that as we didn’t want to wait several hours for a piece of cake. What a joke. Don’t spend your money here.
**Additionally** recently found out that CULLEN didn’t put in the 4th burger for a fact then gave us a 20% discount for his total screw up. No ding dong, you comp that one burger you forgot about and don’t charge people.

The food took a long time but it was delicious. The service was Outstanding!! Our server was Jackie and she was so gracious to my mother, made her feel so special. She defines made the wait worth while!

My guest and I sat at the bar to order a drink and an appetizer. It was not busy at all. After ordering, we were told by one of the waitresses/bartenders that our appetizer has to be put in as a to go order. She apologized and we asked our bartender what the reason was and she wouldn’t say. I will not be spending anymore money or time there until a certain employee no longer works there. Very childish and rude and unprofessional.

I visit the Windsor quite frequently and always eat at Floyd’s. My last 3 recent visits have been horrible. This week visit my bread on my fish could be used as a rock to knock someone out. They put your peach cobbler ice cream in a condiment Togo container. They literally had one tablespoon of ice cream. 3 weeks ago food was horrible as well. Fries were cold and old looking. They need to do a health inspection to make sure they are not trying to save money and hold on to outdated food. I might need make that call.

I visited Floyd’s Pub a few weeks ago during a girls’ night out, and despite how packed the place was, our experience was fantastic—largely thanks to our server, Ashley. The bar was lively and clearly a popular spot, but the crowd didn’t affect the quality of service one bit.
Ashley was phenomenal from start to finish. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful, managing to stay patient and upbeat even while juggling multiple tables. She made great recommendations, ensured our orders were perfect, and checked in just the right amount—not too much, not too little.
The atmosphere at Floyd’s is upscale yet welcoming, and the cocktails were crafted with care. It’s clear the staff takes pride in delivering a top-notch experience.
