I’m a BHS student, and this is week 4 of my Student Eateries Series

Today we’re here at Asiana Noodle Shop, a cozy shop in the middle of church street. This restaurant is what I call a mosquito restaurant, a restaurant hidden and attracts bugs, but the taste of the food and the smell is insane. This is a perfect definition for this restaurant.

I ordered the Beef Spicy Miso Ramen and miso soup since it was cold today. I love how you can customize the spiciness of the ramen. The spicy miso broth is perfectly hot and fresh. The highlight of the ramen is definitely the beef, it was incredibly tender! I also love the tofu and the vegetables with a pickled flavor. The dish felt incredibly homemade and warm, perfectly resembling this cozy restaurant! The miso soup was good and salty, but the broth needed to be hotter. The server was also super kind! Although it was only him as a waiter, and having to serve multiple people at once, he was still kind to all of us! That’s what a waiter should be like.

Overall, this restaurant is a very cozy spot for a homemade Asian meal, which the smell and the taste is heavenly.

Absolutely blown away by the food here! Had the Japanese Ramen and kimchi beef stew – both were TO DIE FOR. HIGHLY recommend the Japanese beef Ramen, it’s a game-changer . If you’re craving amazing Asian comfort food, get here ASAP! 5 stars isn’t enough!!

We like to have lunch there every time we visit Burlington from Montreal. Excellent and consistent food, innovative sushi, easy to mix & share, great attentive service, consider food allergies (all nuts) and help pick from the menu accordingly. Food is priced well for the quality. Can be busy but never had an issue getting a table quickly. Small (but great) crew so service can be a tad slow if full.

Atmosphere is so-so, in a basement from Church street, but not going there for the view! Will return of course and recommend.

It’s a small dining spot with around 15 to 20 seats, seemingly located in a basement. The ambiance is moderate — not too bad, but not very fancy either.

The food comes in good portions with nice presentation, though the taste isn’t exceptional. Still, it’s decent overall.

I’d definitely recommend others to give it a try — it’s good and worth checking out.

Some of the best food in Burlington! Not the best place if you’re in a hurry but it’s worth the wait! The server who has been working there a long time is also SUCH a gem and she works hard to provide excellent service. For food: I love the cargo noodles, Malaysian curry noodle, ramen, and their sushi is the best in Burlington Pictured is the Emperor Soup with chicken instead of pork and Tom Kha Cargo Noodles with egg noddles.

This place was amazing! Went here for dinner with my sister and everything was lovely. No wait when we got there and got busier as the evening went on. Small, cozy, clean restaurant. Staff were very sweet and attentive. Japanese katsu with curry was spectacular! Katsu was so thin and crispy. Was very pleasantly surprised. Hot Thai tea and fried rice were also great. Would definitely come back here!

Absolutely love this spot. Lunch specials are huge and so tasty!!! Curries and noodles are all fantastic. Love all of the dishes with lemongrass. Super accommodating of allergies, gluten free (I have celiac) and other kinds as well. Service was so attentive and warm. Definitely worth the trip!!!!

Food was good. The lemongrass broth was a bit odd but good.
Only one waitress and I felt bad for her when the entire place filled up. She was just running around.
Ambience was also a bit different, it’s clearly and Asian restaurant and they had soft classical elevator music playing the whole time.
And last the charged a credit card connivence fee. Why not just work it in to the price? I would rather pay 50c extra for every dish than pay another fee. Dinning shouldn’t be like an airline service were there are a ton of hidden fees

Price is kind of crazy town if youre an unwealthy college student but if you literally make more then minimum wage then this place is great! Their thai curries are surprisingly good and their sushi is good considering vermont is a landlocked state. I took a risk ordering that sushi and was rewarded for my daring.

You can’t go wrong with this place. I am a huge fan of their duck soup. It is not on the menu anymore, but if you ask nicely, they will happily make it for you. Their makis and sashimi are also safe bets. I enjoy the chill atmosphere and great service.
