I always highly recommend dining at golf courses in Arizona. You get lush green grass, red mountain, and deep blue water views.
@quillcreekcafe has a large covered patio overlooking their Raptor course. Gaze out at views of the pond and pin at hole 18 set against the backdrop of the McDowell Mountains.
The menu is American with Southwestern flare. My prime rib sandwich with side of mac was hearty without being too heavy. It washed down well with a refreshing John Daly. Yes, I just crave one when on a golf course.

Quill Creek Cafe at Grayhawk Golf Club is basically my happy place. If you’re looking for an excuse to soak up incredible views while enjoying some seriously good yummy food, this is it. I’m a frequent flyer here – no judging!! We often stop in for a late lunch after running errands or early dinner when I just don’t wait to cook, and I will say, the vibes never disappoint.
One of my favorite things about Quill Creek is the gorgeous pond framed by brilliant red flowers, a few ducks casually cruising by, and golfers doing their thing in the distance. Dinner and a show!
Frankly, It’s like stepping into a golf-and-garden magazine spread and I’m here for it!! Honestly, I could sit there for hours (and sometimes do). Again, no judging! Sometimes a girl just needs to sit, enjoy the view and have someone else bring her food!
So friends, let’s talk about the food. The chicken wings are always crispy perfection, and I get the sauce on the side because leftovers are a must. They’re so good, you’ll want to savor them twice. And yes, these wings are some of my favorite in town!
Quill Creek is famous for their Chicken Pot Pie as a good friend told us on our very first visit, insisting that had to be our first order. It was and it continues to be a repeat favorite! This dish is creamy, flaky, hearty and because it’s gigantic you will have leftovers! We’ve enjoyed it several times because once just isn’t enough. And I no longer want to make chicken pot pie at home! I mean it’s hot in Arizona and I find myself cooking less and less!
Looking for gluten free, then a good option is the Club on Gluten-Free Bread. It’s stacked high with layers of deliciousness and has also been on the repeat choice list. And for the burger lovers, the Cheese Burger is massive, loaded with all the toppings, and we always choose a side of Mac and Cheese served in a cute little cast iron skillet – because, well it’s cute and delicious and why not make comfort food classy?
I so appreciate the staff here. They are super friendly and attentive without being in your face. The service always hits the right note, balancing checking in just enough to make sure you are well taken care of and balancing that with making sure you have what you need and that you never feel rushed. It’s the kind of place where you can kick back, sip a drink, enjoy the food and watch the world (and a few ducks or a wedding or two) go by.
The bottom line for me is Quill Creek Cafe is my go-to for an easy, fun, and laid-back meal with million-dollar views. Come for the food, make some new friends, stay for the scenery – and maybe a second order of wings.

My group of four had dinner here last night, and the experience was exceptional. The service was outstanding—our waitress, V, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The food was terrific, with each dish beautifully prepared and packed with flavor. The warm ambiance, with stunning views of the golf course and McDowell Mountains, made the evening even more special.
Whether you’re a golfer or just looking for a great dining spot, this café delivers on all fronts. From the attentive service to the incredible setting, it’s a fantastic place to relax and enjoy a memorable meal. Highly recommend!

Nice restaurant with beautiful Mountain views on Grayhawk Golf Club. It’s a Southwestern Style Restaurant offering an American fare menu.
We ordered Pretzel Rolls for appetizers and they came out with warm cheddar sauce, lots of course salt like a regular pretzel and really hot that we could barely pick them up. Great appetizer selection.
For dinner we ordered Chicken Pot Pie which appeared huge and had lots of shreaded chicken, lots of veggies and a yummy sauce.
We also ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich which had lots of thinly sliced Prime Rib, Pepper Jack Cheese and au jus for dipping. It comes with choice of side of French Fries, Mango Coleslaw, or Redskin Potato Salad. It had really good flavor and served hot. Everything is a great value for the price considering the beautiful views on the golf course and the outstanding service.
A nice place to just kick back and relax while enjoying a tasty meal! Definitely will return!!

What an amazing place is this.. perfect for winter brunch .. the patio sitting with a view lush green golf field and beautiful small lake.. We’ve ordered grilled chicken sandwich with mango coleslaw salad as side (this one I tried first time and absolutely loved it) and pesto pasta. Pasta was perfect and creamy in texture just loved it., The only thing that was missing was cappuccino however they have cold brew..

First time here. Pretty tasteless beyond greasy quesadilla. They fried the flour part of quesadilla beyond recognition which is not how it’s done. You dont actually fry it in tons of oil Ilike that Ate because first thing ate at 4 pm. It made me illl. And had thing to go. Should have returned it. It’s not her fault. Just do not get the quesadilla please. Was that representation of rest of their food?

I’ve been a loyal customer for years because I used to love this place — but after my last few visits, I’m honestly shocked at how far the service and quality have fallen.
The last two times I came, the food was disappointing, but tonight’s experience topped it all — and not in a good way. The service was atrocious. The attitude from the staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. It felt like they were doing us a favor just by showing up.
What’s worse is that the restaurant wasn’t even busy — you’d think in slower times the staff would go out of their way to provide good service and make some tips. Instead, they acted like we were inconveniencing them by being there.
Tonight was embarrassing — not for me, but for your restaurant. I never thought I’d say this, but after tonight, I’m not sure I’ll be coming back. Something seriously needs to change.

Had dinner here on the patio (in early October). Plenty of seating, view of the greens and sunset. Since this is outside seating some of the chairs were a bit stained and dusty. Table surfaces were clean though.
Our food arrived fast and was fresh. Fish tacos in soft tortilla were a hit. My personal favorite though is the Supergreen quinoa salad.

This place is very unique. The ambience is above five stars. There is a patio which overlooks the lake and by sitting here you will have open view to surroundig peaks. Patio has heaters. There are gluten free options on the menu.I definitely recomend visiting this place!
