We came here bc the reviews looked promising. When we walked in I immediately wanted to leave bc it smelled like raw sewage. My husband convinced me to try it bc why not and bc he was hungry. We had the hibachi which I found rather flavorful along with the yum yum sauce. My daughter who LOVES miso soup did not like her soup. The salad was great. Nice flavor of ginger and very crisp. Now we had the sushi as well. Lake Mary roll was sweet and actually pretty good. The eel avocado roll was mostly avocado with a sliver of eel. Still not too bad. The other rolls we ordered were not good at all. In fact we couldn’t even finish them. We didn’t finish the noodles either bc without warning they were actually kind of spicy. Angry dragon, coconut shrimp,and American dream were not good at all. We had 2 pieces of each and couldn’t stomach to finish. I hate to waste money on sushi but I’d rather waste it than shovel it down. The service was slow and lacked attention but it was getting busy in there so I tried to understand. The ladies restroom was clean but the men’s room desperately needed attention as my husband described something I shouldn’t have listened to before eating. If you like blue tail they have a lot of rolls that incorporate it in them. This isn’t a great place if you are a sushi snob.
Update: this place made me super sick. Ugh should have left when I smelled the rotten smell. I hope your experience is better than mine.

We absolutely loved this place! I got the Teryaki chicken dinner bento box, but swapped out the california roll for a crunchy spicy tuna, and it was delicious. The atmosphere is great, it’s very nice inside. Service was great. We also had the Fried gyoza appetizer which was amazing and the fried oreos for desert. We gave it a 10/10, will be back for sure!!

If you like micro sushi this is the place for you. I have been eating sushi for over 35 years and without a doubt this is the smallest sushi pieces I have ever seen. Even the shrimp appetizer came with only two pieces of shrimp where most restaurants will serve you four or five. I was impressed that they had fatty tuna or Toro however. The hibachi plate was also fine.

Small but clean and good atmosphere, I arrived about 9:15pm on a Friday night and it wasn’t crowded. Staff was welcoming, took my order at an appropriate time… the meal was presented carefully and tasted fresh and delicious. I had 2 rolls .. the Dragon 5/5 and yummy 4/5. Both tasted fresh but the yummy had more flavor. I didn’t have to wait too long and my waitress was attentive, highly recommend and I will visit again when in the area.

I came here on a weeknight with my best friend, and we had such a great time! The atmosphere was warm and fun from the start. Our server was incredibly sweet and attentive—she explained everything clearly and was so patient with us. The entire staff was wonderful. One of the guys even helped my friend open her bottle with a big smile, and we all laughed about it.
The food was amazing! The beef ramen was huge, flavorful, and so satisfying. The wagyu beef was unbelievably tender—truly out of this world. The sake was strong and smooth, just the way I like it. Even after we finished eating, the staff came by to make sure we were still doing okay.
It was just an all-around great experience. The music added a nice touch to the vibe. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to others!

Exceptional across the board. From walk in, the service was on point and on a busy Saturday night. The sushi and sashimi were crisp, fresh, and beautifully presented. I love a place that doesn’t just try to be good at one thing, but nails every aspect of the dining experience. 10/10, our new sushi spot.

I consider myself a foodie, especially a sushi connoisseur – I am always searching for new spots to try and Miyaji did NOT disappoint. My boyfriend and I sat at the sushi bar, had very attentive service and our food came out FAST. The sushi was absolutely amazing. FULL of flavor, melt in your mouth, seafood was fresh and delicious. The Florida roll was highly recommended by other diners and I’m so glad I ordered it!!! We will 100% be going back, what a great new local sushi spot for Lake Mary.

Decided to go here on a whim for a spontaneous date night. The food quality and taste was much better than I expected. Had incredible gyoza (dumplings), ate it so quick I forgot to take a picture of those lol. We split the hibachi filet and sushi. I’ve never really enjoyed sushi but it was prepared well here and I actually had several pieces. The steak could’ve had more flavor but it was still delicious and paired well with the yum yum sauce. Definitely recommend going.

**Amazing Sushi Spot – Comparable to Bay Area Fine Dining!**
We were visiting Florida from the Bay Area to see family when my husband spontaneously chose this sushi restaurant—and what a fantastic decision it turned out to be!
The restaurant was lovely, the service was excellent, and most importantly, the sashimi was incredibly fresh. The quality was on par with the high-end sushi restaurants we frequent back in the Bay Area, yet the prices here were much more reasonable.
We were so impressed that we’ve already decided to return before heading home. Highly recommend！
