Reviews
Slipped in for a quick drink during my stay at the hotel. The bar was a ghost town at 3 PM on a Sunday, so I basically got a private session with the bartender. He clearly knew what he was doing, and instead of letting me blindly pick from the signature list, he suggested small tweaks like adding yuzu syrup and zest. I don’t remember the exact builds, but both drinks were smooth and distinctive.
Food options were limited during off-peak hours, and I ordered the chicken dumplings and truffle fries. The dumplings came bathed in a tangy soy-based sauce and were fine for the price. The truffle fries were slightly undercooked, though the trio of sauces on the side was good enough.
Great job Yama. I will be back. GUINNESS on draft. Pour 10/10.
The food quality was unacceptable. The fish dish was extremely salty and stringy. The foams on the plate were dried out. Even worse, breakfast ordered through the hotel came with berries that had visible white mold next to my eggs Benedict. This is a serious food safety issue.
Very disappointing experience. Would not return.
A patron at a table right behind us was FaceTiming quite loudly. Staff unfortunately, did not intervene.
The food is good. I ordered the bagel and yogurt bowl on separate days. They weren’t bad. My 8 year old daughter wasn’t a fan of the oatmeal. She normally loves oatmeal, but didn’t like this one because it was sweet. She’s used to oatmeal without added flavours.
As someone who is allergic to eggs, their breakfast options mostly all contained eggs. Fortunately, they had side items to add to the non-egg options on the menu.
The prices are a bit on the high side for what you get. However, I’m guessing that’s a way to eat at the credit you get if you are Hilton Honors Gold or Diamond.
The service was good, though. No complaints.
I tried the bluefin tuna tartar, the seasonal vegetables tempura and wakame salad.
The food was delicious and the service exceptional.
From start to finish, the experience was seamless and memorable. Yama knows how to turn a meal into a celebration. Can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu.
Then the food came and we understood the hype about this place. Everything was FRESH and tasty. We definitely are coming back for their sushi.
Live jazz was playing the place smelled so nice, the ambience and the decor was 10/10 and the large varieties on the me u was just the cherry on top.
Don’t overthink, reserve your table.. you won’t regret it.
