This neighborhood gem is making almost everything from scratch, and priced far lower than one might expect. While it is primarily a bar, the food makes it worth a special trip across town. The fries and cheese sauce are the best I’ve had in Syracuse. The house made ranch dressing is exceptional. The desserts are fun and inventive. While the kitchen is best known for their brunches, I recommend going on other days as well.
Update: had Thanksgiving brunch there and it was amazing. Even better than I had hoped. It was expertly run with staggered seating times and frequently restocked buffet offerings.

I usually just come to the bar for dinner and drinks with friends but lately I can’t get enough of their brunch. I been coming for the past 4 weeks in a row and last week I brought my mom. It really is the best brunch in Syracuse, my favorite is their crème brûlée French toast.

Wolf’s Den is a welcoming bar catering to a mature LGBTQ crowd. Excellent menus prepared by experienced chefs. Outstanding Sunday brunch in a family friendly, inclusive atmosphere and great meals served most evenings after 4. Great dance floor. Pool table. Owners host special events through the year and an annual picnic pride week. Parking lot available, and an enclosed outdoor area for smoking provide a safe experience for patrons.

They are closed right now despite what google says, They look welcoming and their food looks great but unfortunately I was not able to try any of it. Someone on the street said they are closed until the 27th I think? So hopefully this review will help any other travelers! Please don’t hesitate to visit later though!! Call ahead to make sure they are open first probably. They still look fantastic

Really friendly place and amazing food. Food prices are a little high depending on what you’re ordering but TRUST ME it’s worth it! I love this place and will always remember the first night I was there.

I came here because I saw rave reviews elsewhere about the laid back atmosphere and the Sunday brunch. I wasn’t disappointed! The bar makes no apologies for the decor (no question it’s a gay bar) and the bartender, Kenny, was very friendly and attentive. The other patrons were clearly at ease and equally friendly with Kenny and with me as a newcomer. Menu was limited at 11pm, but I got a plate of chicken tenders (Kenny was kind enough to give a bowl of chips as well) and they were fantastic (and the honey mustard sauce was quite tasty)! Dart board, billiards, a stage for their karaoke nights, this is a bar you definitely need to visit once or thrice. Thanks for the pleasant night, Kenny, I’ll be back for more!

Food was absolutely amazing! I had shrimp and scallop Alfredo and it was soooo good. Atmosphere was wonderful. While it is a bar, the seating for meals has more of a restaurant feel. Service was excellent. He has such a wonderful personality.
