Ordered takeout and received the smallest Roti and Small plate of jerk chicken which is composed of 85% Rice 10% Plantains and 5% Chicken. The 3 pieces of chicken are mostly bone and seem like they’ve been sitting out all day also. $17 dollars for a small roti and $15.75 for a plate of rice is near highway robbery! Save your money and go elsewhere. It wouldn’t hurt to also smile and greet customers everyone seemed like they were miserable to be there.

I got a large jerk chicken and my wife got a large brown stew chicken. Super portion size. I promise I’m not leading you wrong.

I was so happy to find a GK in Raleigh as I am from Queens,NY. Landed and drove straight to the spot before checking into my hotel. Everything looked good.
I ordered a large portion of jerk chicken. Flavorful rice, cabbage was great and this is someone who doesn’t like cabbage. The jerk chicken itself was good, could be a lil spicier but maybe coz the locals can’t handle it. The plantains were perfect. Ask for jerk sauce on the side and the sauce had some kick.
For $20, portions are good. Friendly staff and clean place. ❤️

I ordered the jerk chicken platter, 2 beef patties, and a side of mac and cheese. The best thing on the platter was the plantain. The chicken was very dry and the portion of cabbage was very small & not well seasoned at all. I had to add my own seasonings. The Mac & cheese was disgusting. It was cold and the pasta was very, very overcooked. It gave the consistency of mashed potatoes. The beef patties were ok but needed to be warmed up before I could eat it. I ordered 2 only ate 1. I spent $38.00 and overall I would not recommend this place. It’s certainly not worth the price. Go somewhere else!!!

We had a long day of traveling and wanted to get a good meal in before heading to our destination. Found this place on Google and it was really close to the airport, it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I got a large plate of oxtails, rice & peas, & cabbage. Typically people skimp you on the oxtails which is why i got a large. IT WAS SO MUCH FOOD. The oxtails were amazing, rice and peas were great, & the cabbage was good with no extra seasoning. Personally, i tend to add salt to everything but i really did not need nothing AT ALL! Had some for dinner & still had a serving left! I will stop by this place every chance i get.

WOW!! What a great meal!! We found Golden Krust after flying into RDU and wanting some real food before driving home.
We were not disappointed! We shared Jerk Chicken with Rice and Beans, with plantain and cabbage. And Curry chicken with Vegetable Rice. The flavors were awesome and authentic!! We ordered another Jerk Chicken to go!!
I’m looking forward to the next time I’m in the area!!
Everyone was very friendly. The steady flow of customers said a lot!!
Sorry we were enjoying our meal so much we didn’t think to take pictures!!

While I was ordering the server allowed another customer to cut in front of me in line. I’m not sure if they knew one another or something but I literally watched her give him double the portion she gave me when I’d ordered the same thing and the same size. She even verified with him that his food was enough for him. The food is decent but nothing spectacular. Won’t be back to this location. Where’s the Jerk is better and like 15 minutes away.

I am so elated that there is Jamaican cuisine on this side of town rather than a 25 min drive. The staff were kind, the food was flavorful and the atmosphere was very calm, clean, organized and quick.
Side note: I did notice that the glass partition, which hangs over the food as a sneeze guard, was not present , and only one of the servers had on gloves. Hopefully, this was just temporary.

Update: Returned recently and once again had a great experience. The Black Cake is rich, flavorful, and consistently done right. Whoever is baking this black cake, pls don’t stop!
food and service! I’ve been to this establishment 3x already and they’ve only been open 1 wk. So far I’ve had oxtail with yellow rice, jerk chicken, jerk bbq wings and jerk wings. Everything tastes great and the CS has been amazing. My next visit will be for porridge and Ackee with salt fish. The location works great for me, and I’m in Cary. Parking is super easy
