They catered for my wedding and did an AMAZING JOB! My favorite was the blackberry bbq sauce. Scott was so patient with me I think I changed my menu selections about 20 times and he was super easy to work with and very helpful. Very good price for the service and amount of food you get. Very good cooks, mouth watering taste, very good people. It doesn’t get better. They brought everything from drinks, silverware, plates, set up everything on time, great great service, there’s nobody else I would recommend over them.

This place is delicious! Local pride is what makes this joint so successful. Lots of early hours and focus on doing things right, give you some great barbecue. Lunch buffet of this high quality food will leave you craving a nap. You won’t be disappointed. Owner is usually around, and a good chat (if not too busy). Several house made barbecue sauces. Yum!

Eat here every week. The cuts of meat are great and the fries are amazing. Their selection of their own sauces all taste great. Blackberry Chipotle is the best! Highly recommend. Just wish they had more hours!

Scott runs a very good crew. They are very friendly and accommodating. His menu items are always consistent but he will often throw in a special that is very creative and outside the box. He makes excellent rubs and sauces that I’ve used for family events and competitions. His loaded nachos are awesome as well as his loaded baked potatoes! He offers a nice variety of drinks as well.
The place is always clean and smells just like a bbq restaurant should. I’ve eaten at about 20 central Missouri bbq joints and I’d put Hog Haven right up there with the best of them.
If I worked closer I’d be there daily!

Scott has the best BBQ in Central MO! Many places are serving dry or oversmoked meat and his never disappoints! He has many creative dishes that you would only find in big cities and my only complaint is he isn’t open all week. Would recommend to anyone who loves great BBQ.

We went here with a large group, the food was great and the people were awesome! Definitely a great place. Make sure to try the Blackberry Chipotle BBQ sauce, so good!
