I lived in Chicago for 5 years and the best part was getting great cheap tacos almost anywhere. Minneapolis has a lot of great taco places….that charge $8 a taco. Pollo Movil is the only place that reminds me of the best tacos in Chicago for a good price. I’ve been ordering from this place since 2020 and if they ever make a mistake on the order they make it up 10 fold.

Best Sinoloa Chicken in Minnesota!!! If you haven’t been to the Plaza Mexico to enjoy the Pollo Movil Mexican Grill’s Sinoloa Chicken, it’s worth a visit. The seating is mall style seating, but great way to learn or use your Spanish. One word, fun place with a great Mexico vibe, shopping and food.

Bring your Spanish 1 teachings with you it will help you navigate the plaza, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The food was delicious and I would rather have authentic over chain any day. I kept it simple with a burrito bowl, but they kept the flavors coming. Gracias!!

I’ve had two separate meals from here. The al pastor and chicken street tacos. Al Pastor was vibrant and flavorful. The chicken left some some to desire flavor wise.

This place is absolutely horrible. The only good reviews they have are from throwaway accounts the owner makes that only have one review on their profile and no other history.
It only takes a minute to create a Google profile and give yourself five stars.
The only other people who review this place well are bot accounts that have countless reviews all over the place, almost none of them are legitimate.
The food is unhygienic and disgusting. Our chicken burritos were just grisly pieces of untrimmed and low quality meat that was sparse in quantity and almost entirely rice. It wasn’t worth at all what we paid and we felt robbed.
I have worked as a professional cook for over 10 years of my life and can spot all of the little things that make food good or bad, this place checked all of the boxes of horrible quality.
Also, if you look at any reviews people post criticizing the food or the restaurant the owner just responds like a child. They need to grow up.
I can’t imagine how bad it must be working at Pollo Movil, I feel bad for the employees.
Luckily I have countless people in an online community that consists of members from all over the twin cities and have shared this information with all of them.

Made an order on Friday for 40 pieces of chicken. Paid the same day and my pick up was for Sunday at 2pm. I arrived after 2pm and was told they couldn’t find my order. After they looked through receipts they found my order and said it would take about an hour for them to make my order since they had no idea this order existed. I had a party at 3pm and people waiting on the chicken to start eating. So I ended up asking to get a refund and buy something else for my guests to eat. I would not recommend for anyone wanting a large catering order for a party. I thought paying ahead would avoid any of this but I guess not. The staff were really apologetic and felt bad but I felt worse arriving to my event with different food than the chicken everyone was waiting for. Save yourself a head ache and order somewhere else.

Ordered Pollo Movil Mexican Grill on Door Dash numerous times and decided to visit in person. Was surprised to walk through the tiny front door and through a skinny hallway into a large open mall full of food stalls, a meat market and small shops. The atmosphere was energetic and family oriented and the food was great.
