First time! 4:30p Friday – could sit anywhere. 6:00p 3/4 full seating. Menu has LOTS of options. Creamy Poblano Pasta with Chicken – delicious! American burger should be cooked Medium, otherwise very tasty. No room for dessert, will have to come back.

We have been living in Winder a little over a year now and although there are some great Mexican restaurants in town-we think we’ve finally found our “go-to”! We love the atmosphere and on Fridays there’s live music. The wait staff is always amazing and the food is as well. It’s actually a little further from us than some other Mexican restaurants but it’s worth the trip every time!

Just today ordered the Philly Steak Sandwich via phone call. The girl that answered the phone asked if fries were ok which gave the impression that other options can be substituted for the same price so tater tots were chosen. I wanted fresh jalapenos added to the sandwich to which I was expecting a surcharge but I was not expecting to be charged extra for the tater tots. The girl should let customers know if any other sides are selected besides fries there would be an extra charge. Very bad customer service! Looked inside my sandwich for the fresh jalapenos and did not see any. This is not my first time paying for jalapenos and did not received any. The cooks need to pay attention. I paid for my meal but was not satisfied about the experience.

This place has been opened awhile and we just have decided to give it a try. Menu is extensive and has something for everyone even if you dont want mexican. Service good and fast. Went 2 weekends in a row.

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. Jordan, our waitress, needs to be trained because she has 0 customer service skills. She did not come to check up on us… not one time. She did not refill my water. After asking her for the check, it took her 20 minutes to get her to take the cash and then another 20 minutes to get the cash back. This is horrible customer service, especially when gratuity is included. Such a shame and you need to retrain her.

Came here last night for my birthday dinner Mike’s has been our go to Mexican restaurant for many years. The food they brought to the table looked like kids meal portions. The kids meals looked as if they were half the size as they normally are. My wife asked if there was a complimentary desert for my birthday and they stated they do not offer free deserts. We will not be returning to Mike’s.

We loved this place so much that wanted to try it again a couple days after. Food, drinks, service, atmosphere: all was phenomenal!!! My husband and I were sitting there almost two hours. We just couldn’t get enough of everything.We will be definitely coming back!

This is my first time at this location. Their staff was very open and welcoming and were super sweet! I got a Buffalo chicken quesadilla, and it was the best one I have ever had! Their rice is authentic and I really enjoyed my whole meal. Will be returning for sure!!
