From a DoorDash order, I caught norovirus (which was a day after I ate the meal), and the bagel sandwich was soggy… but that was a year ago. The restaurant vibes and the broccoli cheddar soup were great after I went today, although I’m still worried about the sanitary conditions.

New Panera Bread in Avon.
I really like design, looks mush more better than in another PB restaurants. Food looks and taste delicious!
I can’t tell nothing good or bed about service, because I’m usually use the screen to make my order.
One thing what I don’t like there it is dirty tables.

Not a good experience. Stood in line for kiosk that don’t work ? A few people left as I got to the kiosk that did work. Made my order and VVVVWALAA… Overcharge and then it’s asking for a tip without human service?

What $9.29 gets you at Panera Bread in 2025
Supposed to be a half sandwich. Looks like a quarter to me. Gone in 5 or so bites. Volume of bread is 200% that of what is supposed to be on the sandwich… and it was the wrong sandwich. lol. Fortunately it was a wrong sandwich that I like, at least. Not likely to return to Panera Bread for a long time unless prices come down.
I can make these sandwiches at home for $2-3 at twice the size.

I visit several times per week. This is a nice location with friendly staff. However, they absolutely do not clean the men’s bathroom regularly. The urinal is rancid, with the same stains and “debris” week after week.

So on my visit to Panera in Avon recently I will say the food was OK. The flatbread pizza was really good but the Mac and cheese was barely warm.
We still ate it as it is usually hot and just felt that maybe Panera was a little off that day.
We decided to move tables mid way through our meal due to people near us and their language so we moved over by the glass windows close to the bakery counter. I watched as a table sat dirty and full of food and dirty dishes for over 45 minutes. Yet, several employees just walked by it when they were over by the beverage fountain. Finally at the end of our meal I saw am employee coming near the table in hopes that they would clean up this mess, yet they stood there looked at it again and just walked away. The whole time I was there I never saw anyone clean a table only refill the ice tea and iced coffee container.
The employees I did see seemed more into themselves then their customers.
But… there was one young man who stood out from among all the other employees and his name ( I asked) is Sam. This young man was polite, helpful in making our decisions, suggesting items and answered our questions all the while smiling.
If there is a way to reward him, that would be great.
Sam is actually the only one in the bakery section who smiled. He looks like he enjoys working and we will go back to see him again. Hopefully the Mac and cheese will be hot next time though.

Prices are very high and portions are very small. Food was good but grossly overpriced for what they’re offering. I think people have forgotten the idea about when it’s appropriate to tip or ask for a gratuity. Panera is not the place to be asking for tips. It’s just not. I’m upset that they even suggest me leave one. Then, wait for it, they want you to tip them when you cash out. Ummm, no! There are no server’s cleaning up after me and refilling my drinks etc and I have to scrape my own plates into these environmentally friendly waste receptacles all by myself. Good food, but tone it down a bit and offer reasonable portions. My mother order the tuna salad, literally 2 tablespoons of tuna salad on a big piece of bread. Com’on! I feel robbed that I paid this much ($50.00)

I ordered a $8.69 chicken noodle bowl of soup on a Wednesday at 6pm from a bread restaurant and they didn’t have a baguette to go with the maybe 12 oz of soup. Therefore, I settled for a 1oz. Bag of chips.

Haven’t been to a Panera in a very long time.
No I remember why, subpar food and horrible service.
Half grilled cheese n tomato soup 13.26$ definitely not worth the price.
As for the changes to the establishment with placing your own order…not having someone greet me and take my order??? Not to mention two of the three kiosk were not working causing a line, and frustration amongst the patrons.
Next over hiring two of the bakery associates dropping the f- bomb because neither one wanted to do their job. Shameful to say the least.
I will definitely NOT recommend nor be returning.
They did not have wheelchair assesible entrance, they do not clean tables in between patrons. Patrons bus their own tables.

Hmmm, what does one do when you can’t find a box that fits the pastry ring? Ask the customer their preference? Nope! At this Panera they just fold up the edges and squeeze it in and then hand it out without saying anything!
