Ordered for delivery. Brisket outer crust should not be this color. Beans were not very good. Ordered spicy bbq sauce and only 1 of 2 cups were spicy. Normally this is a good place to eat but if I eat there again it won’t be delivered. Way overpriced for this lack of quality control.

The ribs are good and the different sauces.The baked potatoes are regular nothing extra. The baked beans were okay nothing like Wow. We also got the sausage pineapple. They were delicious. The service was blend and seem like another day for them. No real greeting. This was my very first time going. I might try again to see if it was just a bad day. I went on a Sunday at 11am after church. It wasn’t busy. The drinks were alright. I’m just being honest because when I read the reviews it seem to be AMAZING BUT this is average. Then they assumed I was taking it out. We ate in.

Food was good, chicken, pork burnt ends, Texas Twisters , fried okra, baked potato and sweet potatoe were all good. Wife didn’t care for the sausage. BBQ sauces were good. Didn’t really like ordering each item separately, that was a little different. The place us very clean and neat. Overall experience was good, prices were a little high but not terrible. Good BBQ but definitely not close to the best BBQ we have had.

Texarkana, and everything was excellent from start to finish. The room was perfect for our
group—comfortable, well set up, and exactly what we needed.
The food was outstanding and served hot and fresh, and it was a great value for the quality and portions. Just as important, the staff was friendly, attentive, and easy to work with, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a place in Texarkana that can handle a larger group and do it well, I highly

On a pretty long road trip and happened to pull off at the right exit to give Blue Ember a try. Felt like a “fast food” BBQ place…and why not? Should the only options on a long haul be cardboard burgers or mystery meat tacos?
We each got the variety plate, to see what we liked. All of the food was really good, and while we tried them all, the apple bbq sauce was the favorite at our table.

The staff was nothing but exceptional. The restaurant was very nice and clean.. the food was ok at best. I didn’t taste not one ounce of smoke. The seasoning if there was any at all was terrible. The ribs have no flavor profile what so ever. The brisket, trash . What i enjoyed the most was watching the football game and the apple BBQ sauce.. step your game up and get some flavor into your meat

The BBQ is nothing special. It tastes okay but not great. I would say the biggest issue is consistency. We’ve been a few times and the brisket is okay sometimes and then other times it’s somewhat dry. The slices are thin as well. It looks like the brisket is over trimmed. The best items for me are the pulled pork sandwich and sausage. But again, consistency between visits is not there.

I would like to personally think Kara who was instrumental in helping my husband pull off my surprise birthday party at The Blue Ember. The food was delicious! The service was amazing! Everyone that came said they enjoyed the food. The ribs were awesome! The sausages were delicious. The slaw was so good. Everything we had was wonderful! We look forward to eating there again. Thank you for a very memorable night.
