Stopped here for lunch, delicious lobster chowder, my son was very pleased with his lobster roll and my daughter in law was happy with her hotdog. Easy accessibility, friendly staff and clean restrooms. This restaurant is on the beautiful wharf area of DC.

We tried Mason’s as all other restaurants were overcrowded with heavy wait times. This was clearly one of the fortes of Mason’s. On the other hand, the food was disappointing and the workers were soulless as they were clearly overworked. The lobster roll was decent, but everything else we tried was mediocre at best. This is probably your place for a quick bite if you do not mind overpaying for the tourism price tag.

The lobster roll was decent—served warm with butter—but not as flavorful or impressive as I had hoped, especially considering the high price point. However, the lobster bisque was excellent—rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. That was definitely the highlight of my meal.
The staff was friendly and efficient, and the location at The Wharf is convenient and scenic, especially if you’re enjoying a day by the water.
While I felt the sandwich was overpriced for what you get, I’d still recommend stopping by—especially for the bisque or if you’re craving lobster in a casual setting.

This was a delicious lobster roll. The bread was tasted perfectly. And, the lobster was cooked to perfection. If you like lobster rolls, this is a great spot.
This location is perfect to view the wharf. They have outside seating with a great view.

Sherry served up our Bar Harbor Connecticut Rolls and lobster bisque with some food for the landlubber with us (grilled cheese, hot dog, mac and cheese, and tots) quick and fresh and she is great at what she does. She asked questions to make our experience even more enjoyable. We asked for extra butter sauce and the lemon butter sauce with our extra lobster as well as our bisque were both absolutely scrumptious. The views along the water are breathtaking! This is not a place to be missed! Yum!

Tasty! It’s the kind of place you kind of know what you’re getting into, solid food and friendly staff. We got the bar harbor lobster roll with the lobster tail and the lobster salad (which we actually both liked more! Felt more substantial in a way with the different flavors and textures). Making it a combo with chips and drinks, we had a solid dinner and enjoyed ourselves. It is a pricier meal for a casual place, but good food is good food. We would come back! The lady who took our order was also so friendly and welcoming. She took the time to describe the menu since it was obvious it was our first time there.

Had the warm lobster rolls and lobster mac – both were pretty good! The lobster rolls were buttery but not overwhelmingly oily and the lobster mac was also pretty solid and generous with the meat. Staff were very friendly and the vibes were chill.

I tried the Connecticut roll with butter and it was amazing. Bread was soft and crispy while the lobster with butter was flavorful. Added tater tots and coke to complete the meal.

Fast food counter service. It was surprisingly good. I got the warm butter lobster roll. The bread is amazing and the lobster is big. The clam chowder is like a step up from can soup. Please skip the whoopie pie it tastes like sugar. The girls that was working the night I was there was young but had that restaurant running smoothly. The only complaint too smokey. It’s a very small place so not much seating.
