Great Tacos and Papas! Open late on weekends. Definitely a great stop if youre hungry after Downtown. Bistek tacos were delicious and the papa and beans hit the spot. Plus they have Joyas and Cocas Mexicanas.

I don’t recommend I bought an 8$ order of tacos fajita and they only gave me 4 really small tacos and a small cup of beans and some lemon slices! The lemon slices where bigger than the tacos I ate a taco in one bite! Sucks because I was hungry and the truth. I would of gone to whataburger next door to them .! With those 8$ dollars I could have gotten a better combo meal !

Great food and great service. This taco spot has been open for about 6 years I could be wrong. I can’t believe I used to eat my tacos at Taqueria El Zarape gross.. You get what you pay for. At La esquina del taco you can get all the goods, bistek, fajitas, tripa soft. medium. crispy at your order.. Please don’t forget your papa and your Joya its a must.. No need to go all the way to the Miles in Mission when you can get the best tacos in the heart of McAllen
