Visiting this Tropical Smoothie Cafe is like dating someone who ghosts you in person. I’ve been back multiple times over the past few months (clearly I have amazing self esteem) yet somehow the experience keeps getting worse, which I didn’t think was mathematically possible.
The staff have mastered the art of active avoidance. I don’t need a Broadway welcome number with jazz hands and confetti, but when I finally corner someone at the register, a simple “What can I get for you?” feels like it would be asking for a kidney. Instead, I’m greeted with the sounds of silence, followed immediately by a collection of “We’re out of that. Don’t have that. Yeah, no, that’s gone too.” Every. Single. Visit. At this point I’m convinced they either have a secret betting pool on how quickly they can make me give up and leave, or management thinks inventory is just a fun suggestion. Maybe both
Then, after a casual 20 minute wait (bring a book, pack a lunch, contemplate your life choices), you finally get your smoothie and it’s aggressively mediocre. I keep coming back like I’m in a toxic relationship. This is on me now. I’m the problem.
Tropical Smoothie Cafe, please get it together. The other reviews say the same thing, so clearly I’m not the only masochist in this situationship. Fix the stock, teach your staff that eye contact is hip and cool, and maybe, just maybe, make a smoothie that doesn’t taste like sadness.

I have been to several Tropical Smoothies. It’s really not good when you walk in and the staff is almost upset to have a customer. Very rude and unfriendly, standoffish and had to wait a long time for my simple order. This has to be fixed from upper management. If you pay better you can be more selective w your hiring. Find incentives to motivate employees to perform better and more efficiently. And please don’t think that giving the option for a tip is helpful. We, the custom overpays as is! I frequent this area staying in a hotel for work, I will not be back.

Don’t know what’s happened here lately, but the quality have went downhill. We order here often at work and the last few times our SMOOTHies were full of ice chunks, food was stale and the wait time has been longer. If you’re charging me $14 for a smoothie and a breakfast wrap, the very least you can do is make them properly.
Oh well, on to the other trop smoothie down the road.

Worst customer service ever. Staff is rude, and they didn’t let me get my money back after I arrived late for an order by 2 Minutes that was paid for but never made, that’s stealing. The black lady with the glasses probably started cleaning early, and never made it. Shitty customer service in a nice area don’t make sense

Went with friends to grab lunch and ended in disappointment. I wasn’t greeted by the lady standing at the register and she was on her phone. It took a minute before she said anything. It took a long to get my order. My order was made incorrectly the first time and with items I didn’t ask for. When I got home and open my order, I had half a salad when it should have been full and items were missing in my salad. I don’t live close to that location, so it’s wasn’t convenient for me to go back. I didn’t enjoy my smoothie either, it tasted like something was missing. Needless to say I was very unhappy. This was the first time I’ve been to tropical smoothie cafe and was very disappointed. I won’t be back to this location.

Stopped in on my lunch today and the young woman working the counter did not great me in any way and never said a word. My $9 smoothie was so chunky I had to make a second stop while I’m already late to get a spoon. There were whole fruit chunks still. I love tropical smoothie but this one needs major improvement. I will not be coming back

I usually enjoy coming here but today was very different. My office ordered smoothies. There were only 4 so it wasn’t a huge order. When I walked in I was greeted with attitude. I stood to the side patiently waiting for my orders. I was told ohana breeze was discontinued so I would be getting it without the blue. No sorry no offer to make something else just take it or not. I was picking up 3 orders. She gave me my first order and then told me to leave. I told her I was waiting on my other 2 orders. She then told me that my order they were out of stock and I had to cancel it online. I went online to cancel and it told me I couldn’t cancel. She told me oh well get out. You have been giving me nothing but attitude since you walked in. I literally only spoke when they asked the names on what I was picking up. I didn’t give attitude until she told me to get out without giving me what I paid for or giving my money back. She told me she was a manager and her name was Shakar. I refused to leave and called another store to see if they could offer some help as to what I do now. Customer service was awful and we as customers have no way to handle when the store refuses to help. I will not be going back to this store again. I would hope someone from the store / district manager would reach out and advise how to handle a situation like this. I no longer feel comfortable placing online orders with tropical smoothie knowing that if they are out of something I have to fight to get my money back. It absolutely unacceptable for a business to treat their customers this way….. On a side note the floor was so disgusting I was literally sticking to it very unsanitary.

I’ve always order online while working , can’t leave the front desk on weekends so my husband ALWAYS picks it up for me. Well this time did we not only get attitude but he had to come back and get ny cell phone to show the girl. While watching others not speak to staff and people just grab their orders. In the area where pick up orders are placed. Hmmmm so how you going to say it’s policy. You didn’t asked them for their cell phone , so yea. Well he was nice like ALWAYS and asked to make sure.even said my name Then the issue came. So lesson learned. JUST PICK UP YOUR ORDER WHEN ITS SITTING THERE IN THE PICK UP SECTION AND LEAVE DO NOT SPEAK TO THE INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES WHEN ORDERING ONLINE OR IN STORE. IN STORE IS VERY LOUD

Did my survey while I waited for my smoothie, we were served and my husband’s was about an inch lower than mine. Why would they even think about serving a smoothie that was not full. Staff was not friendly, did not greet customers. Usually the staffs great .. where did they go? We want them back!
