This place is amazing!!! I could have sat there and ate 2 more. I forgot what the dish was called, who I assume was the manager suggested that if spicy is what I wanted, she pointed at and I just went with it. I chose the carne asada style, it wasn’t super spicy but damn good. Highly recommend!!!

Everything is simply amazining. This is the first time i have ever experienced this style of eatting. As im doing the daniel 21 day fast. And after 4 days in i really needed help finding somewhere i could get something to eat. And they were Phenomonal with helping me and the meal i got. Oh my god was amazing. This is an amazing gem. Hickory doesn’t have many vegan restaurants but, I’ve been to several around the area and this is the best by far. My husband and I both got the pesto chicken and it was delicious Mac salad was phenomenal everything was so delicious and tasteful. Staff were so helpful and very friendly. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a vegan lifestyle change

This is a really nice place to eat with really good food options. We ordered a burrito, Hawaiian BBQ sandwich and chicken sandwich. The three of us (one vegetarian and two non vegetarians) sampled each plate. Absolutely delicious and large portions. The staff was very kind and helpful. They took the time to answer all our questions. We will absolutely go again. I encourage people to try this place. We are now believers in great plant based meals!

It was such a pleasant surprise to find a fully vegan restaurant in Hickory as I was passing through! The owners of the restaurant are incredibly nice and hospitable. It’s a couple and I believe the husband is the executive chef; the food is really flavorful and nutritious. I got the Olmec bowl with chorizo and there was some kind of sauce on it that was super unique – I’ve never tasted anything like it before, and it was so complementary to the dish. I look forward to returning and trying more dishes and the smoothies!
The interior was very cute, but my understanding is that they are moving to an even better one that will have parking, attached restrooms, the ability to serve wine, etc. I hope this restaurant continues to see great success, it’s clear that the owners are really passionate about what they do and I love to see that!

They got a 100% health rating. So Proud of them. My husband and I come from New Bern to pick up his motorcycle and had to try this. He is vegetarian. He is in love with all the choices. He tried the Olemac bowl. He loves spicy. He said it was perfectly made and wish we lived closer or they would open closer to us. Best Cole slaw I’ve had it a long time.

Was starving on my drive back to the Triangle from Asheville and was having a hard time finding something to eat on the way since I’m vegetarian. Found this on Google before I got to Hickory so I decided to check it out and WOW! Absolutely no regrets. Incredibly friendly folks with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. I had the regular burrito with “chicken” and it was amazing. Chips and salsa were very good as well. It’s been hard for me to find places with plant-based meat so this was such a gem to find. Sad it’s not closer to home. Will definitely be back if I ever find myself in the area again!!

The Boss never disappoints! This was my first time trying the new BBQ option and it’s a solid 10/10! The flavor, texture, and even the smell are all perfectly BBQ-inspired. Definitely a new favor and I hear a new permanent option!

I owe the Ashley and the folks at Plant Based Boss a huge debt of gratitude. I wanted to do something special for my significant other for Valentine’s Day, but I knew we wouldn’t be able to make the V-Day event that PBB had scheduled because my SO was coming back from a trip and we wouldn’t make it in time. On a hunch, I decided to go in to meet the team and explain my situation. They graciously offered to add me to the event list and prepared an incredible multi-course meal for us which I was able to pick in time to set up at home for us. Not being vegan, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but let me say: we both thought the food was absolutely fantastic and I look forward to more! Again, a special thanks to PBB for making our day even more special.
