Recently went here with my husband & the food was delicious! Very flavorful & decently priced. The salsa was also amazing & the server was kind enough to give us extra to go. Not pictured are the champurrado & churros that I got to go, but were equally delicious especially during this colder season. They also have different specials almost everyday of the week. Not to mention they’re a family owned & ran business, so it’s nice to support local as well. Would definitely recommend!

First time was a great experience , the fried shrimp where big , hot and delicious , fish was cooked perfectly – you could taste the freshness of the seafood . Try the fried calamari – they were so delicious, fresh , crispy and soft . The gentleman waiter was amazing , always came to offer refills and gave us our time to eat . This little hidden gem should be out in the open , you will not go wrong by stopping by and taste good seafood . Loved it and they got a new customer

We decided to give Chubby’s a try, specifically for the chargrilled oysters….and let me tell you they did not disappoint! Not only were the oysters sooo good, they came out on a hot, sizzling platter with grilled onions surrounding them which took it to a whole different level. Soooo good! The margarita was on point and our food was seasoned to perfection. Not only was the food great,we were greeted and welcomed with warm, smiling friendly faces. The atmosphere was nice, quiet, and clean. I’ll most definitely be returning!

If you’re looking for fresh, flavorful seafood with top-notch service, Chubby’s Mariscos Seafood & Oyster Bar is the spot! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was incredible our waiter was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. I had the fried Red Snapper with mariscos and it was absolutely amazing. Perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and generously portioned so much so that I shared it with my husband and still had plenty left. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. To top it off, I ordered the golden margaritas, and they did not disappoint smooth, refreshing, and just the right kick. We were a party of six (two adults and four hungry teenagers), and every single one of us left satisfied and full. The atmosphere was great, the food was outstanding, and I’m already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!

The restaurant seems to be conflicted between being a Mexican restaurant and a seafood restaurant with a mix of barely nautical decor and a sprinkling of what could be said to be Mexican themes. The seats could be a bit more comfortable especially in the booths. After dinner all I wanted to do was end the dinner, my butt hurt so much.
The night we were there there was a live performance. Which really made it hard to hear even friends at my own table. If Friday night love nights are going to continue some good sound deadening is needed.
The meals were decent, but nothing to write home about.

We found this spot while driving around the Spring area, and I’m so glad we did. It’s a family-owned local business, and you can really feel the care they put into everything. The service was great—our waiter, Enrique, was super friendly and even told us his mom and family own the place, which made the experience even better.
We started with chips and salsa, and the sauce was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of kick. For our meal, we ordered the fajita plate, green enchiladas, fried shrimp, and rice, and everything was really well-seasoned and cooked just right. The fajitas were tender, the enchiladas had great flavor, and even the fried shrimp (which I don’t usually go for) were fresh and crispy. The menu has a little bit of everything, so even if you’re not big on seafood, you’ll still find something good.
It’s always nice to support small businesses, especially when they’re this good. We’ll definitely be back for the grand opening—highly recommend checking them out!

Really good options and fresh seafood. The service was great. The reason why I’m removing one star is because I felt like the calamari wasn’t fried in fresh oil (the breading almost had a slight sour taste because of it and it kept falling off the calamari.) I didn’t mind eating it without the breading, still tasted good, especially with the sauce. Definitely an interesting twist on the baked oysters with tomatoes and cheese on a bed of grilled veggies, they were tasty. Reasonable prices and great ambiance overall.

The seafood is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the Texas Catch plate. The margaritas are GREAT as well. Daniel was my server and he was excellent… both kind and knowledgeable.
