Popped in here for the 1st time, as I walked down main Street and realized they served ice cream. Staff was friendly and welcoming and ice cream was delicious. Prices are reasonable so if your into town checking out the area definitely check them out.

Good service (and fast!) I’ve been going here since I was a very little girl. I now go there to enjoy their pesto pasta and some sangria. It’s not the CHEAPEST place to eat but it’s reasonable and they have very good quality food. To those complaining about pricing, good luck finding a cheap restaurant on main Street that isn’t Chinese food. To those complaining about service or servers, the person who served you is most likely gone and I’d give the place another try

Tried to get good ice cream and all they had was 20 vegan options and 2 awful dairy flavors. What happened to Perry’s and Gillette? What a waste of a freezer case. Not coming back. Heard a child complaining about that lack of non vegan options while we were there too. Iced CREAM-Dairy is in the name. Figure it out before you lose all your customers.

Went here with my bf on a Sunday and they had great ice cream and coffee. You can choose to have multiple scoops of the same or different flavors. A little on the pricier side for ice cream compared to chain places but it’s a local businesss, likely privately owned. Place could also use a few renovations since its a bit old inside. Probably one of the more staple places in Nyack as I remember them being there as a kid. Would definitely go back!

After walking the town, what a nice way to enjoy lunch, sitting at the window table of Temptations Café, doing some lazy people watching. A local recommended this place as a favorite. We agree. Very unassuming décor, nice menu – food was remarkably good. We shared a Pastrami Reuben and an order of Kobe Beef Hot Dogs with thick cut bacon and a delicious sweet BBQ dressing on a tasty toasted bun. Kobe or not, the hot dogs were certainly the best or a tie for the best “dog” ever. Service was very attentive. Nyack is a lovely town. We walked Main St and Broadway – filled with people and their pets out enjoying the first real sunny weekend of the season.

Inaccurate hours, rude service, always out of ice cream flavors, and looks more like a medical office than an ice cream shop. The Temptations we all once loved – the welcoming staff and owner, amazing service, delicious food and ice cream – is now whatever mess this is. I would do ANYTHING to get the old temptations back.
