First time ordering take out from Rainbow Garden and will definitely be ordering again. We don’t get takeout often but we’ve been in the area a few years and were disappointed with the takeout we’ve gotten at the other local Chinese American restaurants. This was just what I was looking for, wonton soup had real broth, not just salt water dyed yellow like I’m pretty sure the other restaurants are doing. Chow mein noodles seemed fresh fried, lo mein wasn’t mushy, eggs rolls crispy and nicely filled, chicken and broccoli with broccoli that hadn’t been cooked to death, very pleased with everything we tried. Will definitely be back! Thank you Rainbow Garden!

Rainbow Garden in Bunn is our go-to spot for great Chinese food! We always get the Hunan Chicken, Chicken with Mixed Vegetables, Wonton Soup, and Steamed Wontons, and everything is always fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The portions are generous, and the service is fast and friendly. If you’re in the area and craving good Chinese takeout, you can’t go wrong with Rainbow Garden!

Called in order. Hubby picked it up. My Happy Family was awful, egg roll too greasy.
The staff was lousy. The person on the phone with me was rude. The cook is crazy –
Bottom line – NEVER GOING BACK

Our first time ordering takeout- I was taken aback that the employee on the phone didn’t ask for a name, but the food was ready in 15 minutes and the order was correct. We got the general tso’s and sweet and sour chicken dinner combos (rice and egg roll). Delicious! Is it a gourmet meal? No, but for affordable chinese it was top notch. And generous portions so we have lunch the next day. We will be back!

Ordered spicy pork with fried rice
Got a ton of onions with fried rice
No pork to speak of.
Had to make something else.

We used to come here rather often and always were pleased with the quality of the food. Recently we ordered dinner and it was terrible. The chicken was poor quality and lacked their normal flavor. Egg rolls were overcooked and greasy. Prices had also increased a ton. Over $40 for dinner for two is outrageous. Sure there are always leftovers but who wants leftovers of food that wasn’t good to begin with? Not us. Lost a customer.

First, I noticed the 92.5 score on the wall…I should have went with my gut and walked out then. But I preordered over the phone and didn’t wanna stick them with an order no one was picking up. After getting my food, I noticed no fortune cookies in my bag. So I asked for 3, and it seemed like it was a hassle to them. I ordered sweet/ sour chicken and chicken lo mein and 3 egg rolls. The ss chicken was dry and old and no crisp to the nugget at all. The lo mein noodles were greasy and gross looking. The egg rolls were not crispy, were tough and chewy. I’m not a picky person, I can eat almost anything but will never buy anything from this Chinese restaurant again! You couldn’t give away a meal from this place to me.

Seventeen years later and these egg rolls still slap harder than my teenage nostalgia. This was one of my first jobs in high school, and they roll out perfection every time. Sweetest staff, fire food, and egg rolls that deserve their own fan club. An absolute staple. I tell my husband “I want egg rolls, but Bunn egg rolls.”
