The food is awesome I had fried oysters OMG! Lightly breaded crispy and the okra wow fried perfect for me!! My husband got the large shrimp French fries n jambalaya oh the fries were hot n crispy! Jambalaya is spicy! But very good, prices very reasonable,the staff all very friendly and helpful they also sell everything fresh fish,shrimp, you just have to experience the dock it’s wonderful!!they have a huge variety available and the menu thumbs up!

The food might take a second to cook but that’s because it’s always fresh and made to order. It’s the best seafood restaurant in town! You can choose your food to be blackened, grilled, or fried. My husband always gets fried and I always get grilled, so it’s perfect for people who have different preferences. The staff is always so nice and friendly. The restaurants decor fits the theme too!

Finally tried “The Shrimp Dock”. It did NOT disappoint. Very bright and clean restaurant. Lots of options on the menu and reasonably priced. Customer service was great and the best part the food was delicious. My husband got the stir fry and he loved it. I got the boom boom shrimp tacos with fried artichokes and potato salad. It was all so so good. It was more than enough food we even had a little leftover to take home. Can’t wait to go back and try more but also loved what I had I may get it again So so yummmy

I stopped in a couple months ago and got a 1.23 raw swordfish. Was alright. I had a second to stop in today right as they closed. I was greeted with a “we are closed” I totally understand but I do see a chance to improve service as I probably won’t return. I hope this business thrives but makes some necessary changes.

Really good shrimp po boy. It comes loaded with plenty of shrimp. I had to eat half the shrimp off the sandwich to be able to pick it up and eat it. The staff were very friendly. They have a really good selection of seafood dishes on the menu. They also offer a wide selection of fresh seafood to take home to cook. If you haven’t tried it, I would highly recommend stopping by for a bite.

Oh my goodness! This restaurant has the most delicious fish. It was like eating at a high end gulf restaurant. You will be amazed. I recommend you try this place, you won’t be disappointed.

Food was a disappointment, my husband got the salmon and I got the cod entrée. Fries and coke zero were the best. I asked for ranch for my salad and got some dill dressing. We threw over half our food away to no flavor.

We finally tried the Shrimp Dock and looked forward to it because of all the rave reviews. I don’t know if it was an off day or my idea of good food is different than everyone else’s but it was horrible. My fried cod was dripping grease and salty beyond belief, the tartar sauce was barely more than mayonnaise. The tea machine malfunctioned and sprayed sticky teal all over my clothes and it was so cold in there it was ridiculous. It looked pretty clean but had to come home and change clothes not only because of the tea but because of the greasy fish smell that saturated everything I was wearing.
I can’t believe we paid over $40 for a meal Culver’s could have put to shame.

Great options, however they should work on there seafood boil and work on there butter garlic sauce and if someone says they want heat then it should be a dash and should be mixed with the sauce, not be so HOTT that it’s not edible.
(Ask storming crab)how they make there sauce and how they mix it all together, like your corn,potatoes,sausage,etc.
So not to compare, but for those who live in maryville/Alcoa and don’t want to drive to Knoxville and want to give there business to (the shrimp dock ),then let them give us some butter garlic sauce with old bay and or some heat.

I was very impressed with the food and the service. I had the clam poboy. My friend had the fried shrimps. We shared the seafood balls for appetizer. All were delicious. I’m glad that they had beer. The staff was friendly and worked hard at keeping the place spotless.
