We had a party of 3 which came here on a weekend at around 6. It was empty enough where we got a seat quickly. I ordered a burger with sweet potato fries. Each persons meals came out 5 minutes apart. My drinks were never refilled. The fries were terrible. The burger was overcooked, dry and cold. The bacon was obviously not fresh.
What’s really sad is the location and venue are beautiful, but the management, service, and chefs ruin it. Personnel builds success.

Very cool place at Montgomery Whitewater. Ordered bar foods during our time at the skating rink. Excited to try to for a full meal or event in the future.

Eddys Restaurant has a lot of rules which should have been highlighted on its website and in its advertisements. For example, the restaurant only accepts credit card payments. Cash is not accepted. This practice is not customary for restaurants in the Montgomery Area. Next, balloons were not allowed in the restaurant. Also, they donot give receipts unless you ask in advance before they close your ticket out. There are also other No’s but I am not going to list them at this time. On the other hand, everyone seemed to enjoy their food except one of our members who said that the beef dog was not well done as she had previously requested. In addition, my portobello sandwich was ok but could not be compared with your competitor, Cork and Clever Grill, which has the best, most tasty, portobello sandwich that I have ever eaten. Overall, I was not pleased with the lack of communication shown when our planner called, in advance, about our birthday celebration. During that call, your staff did not inform her that balloons were not allowed due to the helium exposure to Airplanes at Maxwell AFB. Then, we would have understood and known what was to be expected. In addition to that, the parking was too far from the restaurant. Moreover, at the end of our dining, the server would not take a final order for a beverage item requested but told our member that she must go to the front register to order it because she had closed her ticket out. Finally, not one time while we were being served did I see the server smile. In retrospect, and as a business consultant, I strongly believe that Management and the staff need customer service and hospitality training. Overall, in my professional opinion, the buck starts and stops with Management who needs to revisit creating a more customer-friendly atmosphere.

We had a pretty disappointing experience at Eddy’s. After placing our order, we waited 35 minutes with no food before finally asking our server what was going on. Shortly after that, someone came to our table and told us the order hadn’t been put in correctly.
We didn’t receive our food until about 50 minutes after ordering. On top of that, when my friend asked for a refill, her Sprite was “topped off” with water, which was frustrating.
The fries were good, but the rest of our meals were mediocre, at best.
When we asked if there was any kind of discount for the long wait and multiple mistakes, we were offered free shots as compensation. We explained that we don’t drink, so that wasn’t helpful or appropriate.
When the bill was brought out, we were then told they could give us a “slip” for a discount next time, which we declined since we won’t be returning to dine after this experience.
Overall, the service issues really took away from the meal, and unfortunately we wouldn’t recommend dining here based on this visit.
The only redeemable thing was the Trivia night. That was fun.

When I tell you that I truly enjoyed myself this past week is an understatement. My server was Shari, hands down the sweetest server ever!!! The food, who ever cooked that evening put their foot in it. (Yes, I’m a country girl lol). The Bartender, Adrianne made my drink just how I liked it, so good that it was a total of 3 margaritas… I will be back soon to experience Trivia Night that Adrianne mentioned, sounds fun and i might lose!!!!! But hey, thats all fun!!! If y’all read this, THANK YOU FOR THE OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because our server was amazing. We were tired from Thanksgiving dinner prep, and were looking for a place to grab a bite. The restaurant was clean and inviting, and our server was sweet, friendly and attentive.
Our experience turned sour when another table was getting their food, and the chef was arguing with the server, telling her she rang up food wrong. In front of customers! Extremely unprofessional! I ordered nachos. The menu states they have melted cheddar. They were served with cheese sauce, which I hate. The chef delivered our food, and repeatedly told me that “culinary wise” cheese sauce is considered melted cheddar. They were remade, and were ok. When the chef delivered these, she talked down to me, telling me when I order, I need to use the phrase “shredded cheddar” when ordering in the future. Quote: “I don’t want you to have this problem at another restaurant. Other places wouldn’t remake your food, and they would ask, ‘Did you even read the menu?” As a veteran server of 30+ years, I know for a fact other restaurants wouldn’t say that, and they definitely wouldn’t talk to customers like they are stupid. If you frequent this restaurant, and see that they can’t keep staff, you’ll know why.

Eddy’s Restaurant and Bar offers a delightful dining experience with its combination of kind and efficient service, generous portion sizes, and breathtaking views. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and promptly attended to throughout my meal. The staff was attentive and made sure I had everything I needed.
The food itself was delicious, and I appreciated the large portions that left me feeling satisfied. However, I couldn’t help but notice that some menu items seemed a bit overpriced. For example, paying $22 for a chicken salad felt a tad steep, considering what was included.
Nevertheless, the ambiance of the restaurant, coupled with the stunning views it offers, made the overall experience memorable. While the prices may be a bit high for some dishes, the quality of the food and the service make Eddy’s worth a visit. I’d rate it 4 out of 5 stars.

I took my family to Eddy’s Restaurant and Bar after a day exploring Montgomery, based on the strong Google reviews. Unfortunately, those reviews were misleading. This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had this year.
The first red flag: multiple staff members walked past us as we stood waiting to be seated—completely ignored. Hunger kept us there, but in hindsight, we should have left. When we were finally acknowledged, the service remained non-attentive throughout the entire restaurant.
After waiting nearly 45 minutes for our food, the first dish—a Cobb Salad with grilled chicken—arrived with raw chicken. When we pointed this out, the server casually replied, “Yeah, I thought it looked raw too!” Absolutely unacceptable.
To make matters worse, there was a gentleman in the kitchen who repeatedly glared out the window with visible anger and disgust. The atmosphere was uncomfortable, and the food quality was abysmal.
Bottom line: Don’t go to Eddy’s. Poor service, unsafe food, and an overall unpleasant experience. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Really cool place inside the Montgomery White water Park. No admission to come in to walk around and have dinner and drinks. Came around 6:30pm on Thursday and it was empty but that changed quickly. It was trivia night on Thursday and it drew a decent crowd. Food was great but the come and get it system with the buzzers feels odd and you never stop hearing them beep it seems like. Burger and fries are good. Wife loved the fish tacos and we both enjoyed our expensive cocktail drinks. Wish we had been prepared for trivia because we didn’t have enough time on a school night to stay. Great setting for a date night and lots of families there
