The ratings are based on multiple visits. The customer service is rated excellent bc a few times they went above and beyond to make up unavoidable issues. I.e. items sold out, supplies out of stock….the staff n manager made sure you’re satisfied with the orders.

Best Einstein Bros. Bagels location I’ve been to. It’s so spacious and there is so much seating indoors and out. I ordered their cranberry bagel and it was delicious. The service is very fast as well. They were even offering free samples of their new dragon fruit lemon drop drink and it was so good. Will definitely be back soon! (Please offer dairy free milk)

We tried Einstein Bros. Bagels in Walnut a few times and it used to be Rubio’s coastal and grill location. The place is big, spacious and clean. We always order their Nova Lox with Everything bagels and pretzel bagels. Their bagels were delicious. I also like their orange juices. However, I’m not a fan of their hash browns because they were not crispy and tasted like potato balls to me. We are so happy that we have Einstein Bro’s Bagels in Walnut.

Since I became a member, I usually take advantage of the Monday special: a dozen bagels for $9.00. On February 16, I purchased this deal. After checkout, I got into my car and parked just outside the store. My husband suddenly called to let me know we were out of cream cheese. I went back into the store and asked the cashier to void or cancel my recent purchase, as I wanted to buy a dozen bagels along with two cream cheeses. Unfortunately, she told me she couldn’t cancel the transaction because the reward had already been added to my account. I explained that canceling the purchase wouldremove that reward. The single cream cheese costs $5.29. Since it was early, I didn’t want to argue, so I started paying with my card. However, she forgot to apply my membership reward. She then voided the transaction and reopened it using my barcode. I left feeling that she could have easily canceled and redone the transaction and reapplied my membership reward. My only thought is that the cashier was either feeling lazy or didn’t want to. I believe staff training could use some improvement.

Why is the staff getting annoyed with me when I’m not the one messing up the order?? I was clear with my order, I asked for the ham and swiss with avocado sandwich on cheddar and jalapeno. What do I get? Just ham and swiss… Where’s the lettuce, the onion, the tomato, the avocado?? I got the eye roll and the face of annoyance. They had forgotten the avocado again and when I asked if had added the avocado they said it didn’t come with it… Yeah I know that’s why I had initially ordered it.. like c’mon

My wife and I were really excited for this place to open, Walnut desperately needed a different variety of breakfast options, for just opening it seems really well run. I really was struggling to figure out to order and the staff was very patient. My wife got the all nighter with asiago bagel and I had the turkey avocado & bacon with a 6 cheese bagel. The turkey avocado and bacon was pretty mild but the bagel was very delicious. The all nighter blew me away, bacon was crisp, egg was fresh and cooked well, and of course the bagel was perfect.

At my husband’s recommendation, I tried your bagel shop and instantly fell in love with the garlic bagel. Since then, I’ve been driving 30 minutes every day just to get it from your Pasadena location, because it’s the only one nearby that has garlic bagels.
This flavor has completely won me over，This bagel makes my whole day better — I feel genuinely happy after eating it.
I live near here and truly hope garlic bagels can be available at this location too.

This was my second experience eating at an Einstein Bros. Bagels. The first was at the Ontario airport a few years back and it was really good. I walked in around 10am on a Saturday and the place was pretty slammed and there was a big crowd waiting by the “pick up” area. The order line was quick but I couldn’t help but notice that most of the employees looked lost or overwhelmed. I walked to the pick up area and kept hearing people complain about the wait time. The drinks were coming out very quick but the bagels and other items were so slow. It took about 30 mins to get my order (2 bagels, 2 hash browns). On top of the wait, the food tasted so bland and dry. I was very disappointed and hate leaving negative reviews but felt I needed to voice my dissatisfaction.

It’s just so so. At first we were very excited that finally an Einstein bagel location has opened in our city. Yesterday was our 4th visit and considering this business has been up and running for a few months now, I feel that it is still very disorganized. Bagel egg sandwich was prepared sloppily and too bland. When I asked for a packet of salt, they could not provide. Service is also slow. Something not right with the work flow. In my opinion, it needs more experienced and permanent staff to handle food preparation.
We have been to Einstein in Del Mar heights in San Diego and Torrance where the food and service are just exceptional.

I’m not sure what’s happened, but the standards of this place have dropped significantly. Drinks are always late or forgotten. The orders are incorrect, and the staff are very unprofessional.
When we ordered drinks with our meals, they were always left unattended and never made, and left on the screen. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks in an almost empty restaurant.
Many of our orders have been incorrect. We get charged for 2 eggs but only get 1. We ask for turkey sausage and get pork. We ask for no tomatoes and only get tomatoes.
While I get that staff on break are not serving others. Having a staff member talk loudly, on a speakerphone, while on a personal, medical, or legal call should not be done in the customer seating area. Double so when the staff is talking and eating with their mouth full.
