What can I say this place is delicious when in Poteet passing through or just need a bite to eat for the day. This one my regulars breakfast is great I enjoy the huevos rancheros with carne guisada side of bacon. Tacos as well aree always great. Lunch just as good haven’t disappointed yet. Service is always great as well. If ya love Rae Dunn stuff they gotta set up where ya can find it and are always getting new stuff as well as seasonal things that come out. Definitely check it out!!!

The staff at this place are extremely friendly and courteous and the decor is beautiful. The bathroom was pristine as far as cleanliness and they have household trinkets for sale for unbelievably low prices. Highly recommend this place!

There are several places to get breakfast tacos in Poteet but La Mesa is the only place I go! I live closer to Don Juan but the quality of their food and service is below what you find at La Mesa. The staff is friendly, the drive through is quick, and the food is DELICIOUS! I also feel I am getting my money’s worth as they are not skimpy on ingredients or portions. I highly recommend La Mesa!

My potatoes were cold on my breakfast plate. Never got my tortillas with it. Server to busy with big tables so never came back after leaving my plate. I usually eat here once a week that never happened before… but a big tip or a single person meant more

Today was well Cost over Quality for this restaurant. I just purchased 3 chicken fajitas tacos and a sweet tea going with the drive-thru option. The cost was a staggering 23.78. I could have gone to any other restaurant and had a full lunch plate and still cost less, I only live 4 minutes away, I had to warm my tacos up in the microwave,another disappointment. If you decide this restaurant, I would suggest dining in so you can approve your food before you have to eat a disappointing meal.
