Definitely a must due especially when your just wanting a moment to take everything in. Repurposed station brought to life with its history blended with all things good. Service had been very courteous and prompt even with an Oder as simple as mines. Though everyone will run to the fancy knighted coffees I tend to keep it o.g and go for something more of a past time fav. Even with that being stated the hot chocolate is anything but a past time with how it had been made and received. I did have a cinnamon apple style muffin which had me wanting a slice of apple pie. Through and through it made my day and the service provided is most definitely top tier… see you guys sooner than soon‼️‼️‼️‼️

A delicious stop along our road trip in a fun historic Texaco building. Food was delicious and the Stella ice cream they serve was a fantastic treat.

Fun makeover of an old Texaco station. Smart redesign, open floor plan, lovely outdoor space. Handsome wood and leather furniture. Could have spent the whole morning here.
Dirty chai was legit. Turkey pesto breakfast sando was tasty and filling.
Coffee shop and restaurant use separate tills.

The Local is a great little coffee shop and always our go-to when we pass through La Grande. I drink my coffee black, either brewed or as an Americano, and their coffee is consistently excellent. The staff is friendly, professional, and quick, and the place is always super clean. It wasn’t too busy for a Sunday morning, which was nice. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a solid cup of coffee and good service.

This place is perfect for lunch. They have s great atmosphere and really nice employees. The menu is small, mainly just a few different varieties of delicious sandwiches. All if them are exceptionally well made and tasty. They make excellent coffee as well as rebull drinks and Chai lattes. Dont skip this place, if you do then you missing out!

We stopped by **The Local** in La Grande, Idaho, and absolutely loved it! The place is adorable with plenty of seating options, both indoors and outdoors. They offer a great selection of coffee, plus ice cream, which was a nice treat. It’s also super family-friendly with lots of space for the kiddos to play, making it a perfect spot for parents to relax. Highly recommend!

Fast check out! There is another room attached to this place for more dining but it was packed and I didn’t want to be disrespectful towards folks just eating their lunch but it had a cozy area to dine In. Bathrooms were clean and when we needed directions for other places to roam around while we waited for our check in at the hot springs, the young lady behind the counter wrote down some great spots for us to check out, outside of town. They had gluten-free muffins but also normal sandwichs here. I had a white chocolate raspberry hot mocha and my fiance had a triple shot espresso. Was very clean and good, and I will come back again!

Great outdoor seating area with space for kids and pets as well as trendy indoor space. We had the seasonal huckleberry lemonade blended as well as the hibiscus tea with prickly pear blended. They were so sweet and refreshing! They have a huge selection of Stella’s ice cream as well.

We love this spot! We are traveling through and are always on the lookout for local coffee shops and The Local is SO awesome! It has such a cool design, we love the indoor + outdoor vibe, and the coffee and food we have had has been delicious! It has been a great place to work for a couple days, with solid wifi and enough seating + outlets.

I walked across the street
from The Landing Hotel
to grab a milkshake and
a sweet treat.
The Local offers handmade
ice cream, pastries, tea,
coffee, and sandwiches.
I ordered a Blue Moon
Milkshake (raspberry
& other flavors), a pecan
huckleberry scone and
a piece of banana bread.
It was busy and I received
my milkshake in about
ten minutes
The milkshake was thick
and had great taste.
The scone and banana
bread were both very
moist and not really sweet.
I enjoyed the the fun
atmosphere of The
Local and came back the
the next day for a raspberry
Italian Soda.
Located on Adams Street
in La Grande across from
The Landing Hotel.
A nice place to stop for a frozen treat, pastry, drink,
or sandwich in a renovated
Texaco Gas Station with
friendly service.
