Jake’s Spoon, our signature restaurant, is a stylish, comfortable eatery, serving up modern Arizona roadhouse cuisine, cold drinks, and good times. The menu blends traditional American favorites with authentically local dishes such as our already famous green chili stew. All dishes are made from scratch and prepared with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Jake’s Sip, the neighboring bar area, offers an excellent selection of craft beers and wines on tap. Food was good, service was minimal. We sat on the patio, which was lovely; great view, however, after receiving bread and water, we didn’t have service for over 15 min. Ended up going to the bar for our first round of drinks. Even after that, tables around us received service before we were ever attended to. Disappointing. We ordered the tuna app, chicken salad, ribeye and lamb lollipops. The lane and rib-eye were the favorites, the tuna fell far short and you could taste the residual freeze on it. Overall, a good experience for the area which had very minimal options.

*Update 1/5/25* We drove up to all the way from Phoenix and were told that they are now only open to members. I understand that’s a business decision to be made but no where on their website does it say this.
2021 – This place was great! We’ve drove past here so many times and had no idea this was here. The food was great, with a lot to choose from. This service was excellent and fast. The view made it even better.

Recently had one of Jake’s spoon creation dish, Osso Bucco, and it was terrible. I had this dish numerous times elsewhere and always loved it. The meat was very dry and served with very little sauce. Tasted like the meat was boiled and the sauce was an afterthought. The supposed roasted vegetables served with the dish were not caramelized and tasted like reheated leftovers. Unfortunately not the first time that they failed to meet standards. Trying to support the club, but with such terrible execution I cannot justify spending my time and money doing so. My wife addressed the food quality issue numerous times with the food and beverage manager with no improvements. Going elsewhere for a great dinner experience.

October 2023 server dump a full cocktail on my wife, no apology, she only said she was having a bad day. Manager didn’t apologize, and neither did he offer to comp any portion of my wife’s bill. Effective 1/1/2025 WR residents only restaurant.

Gorgeous property, lots of patio space (which is the place to be IMHO). Elevated menu and probably one of the better golf course grills in the greater Phoenix area. Service was also top notch and very friendly.

Great team working to make this a great place. Both dinners were over cooked but good. Cooked perfectly and this would be a four star review. I have the Snapper special and my college roommate had the Bison Meatloaf. Both good but they could be so much more!

Party of 8 and 1/2 the dinners were cold. Never offered a refill on soft drink. Then manager argued about reason food was cold. They did offer a free dessert though. Wasn’t busy at all but was near closing. Filet was the smallest I have ever seen. Not many options in Wickenburg so will probably have to return. Bar was good and Bloody Mary was excellent.

French Dip – really good, thinly sliced beef was soft and tender with gooey melted cheese. Just perfect and Yummy.
Reuben – way too salty and fatty. Yes, fat, almost more fat than a bacon from the pastrami slices. I am also not sure if the salt was from the sour Kraft or the pastrami but it was totally not edible. My husband said how come everything is salty for you these couple of days. He took a bite and that was it. He gave me some of his French Dip. The worst Reuben I have ever had.
Service- probably 1 1/2 star if compared to Cowboy Cookin. Surprisedly bad from a private CC.
