Small Cafe. Nice breakfast menu. Reasonably priced. Very attentive and personable staff. Food was prepared in timely matter as diner doesn’t hold many customers. Cafe is opened until 3pm and does offer lunch/dinner options. My Denver omelette was tasty and home fries were browned nicely on top. Loved the homemade pancakes that comes with the entree. My dining companion had Biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausages. Would come back for breakfast again.

I’ve driven past this place for years and each time said, we should go there someday. Well, that day has come and my only regret was that I waited so long! It’s surprisingly small, which gives it a nice atmosphere. The service was good, and we really enjoyed the food. Highly recommended!

My sister and I were looking for a place to have lunch after taking a walk by Sheridan Park. We were driving on Packard Ave and saw this cute little Cafe, the menu looked good online. So we went to check it out with our little ones. We ate outside on the back patio, our waitress who I’m assuming is also the cook Maria was very sweet and made sure we were happy. The food was very good too, my sister and I had the Caesar wrap with their chicken dumpling soup and fruit. My daughter had the chicken strips with fries. She thought they were delicious. I tried them myself and l think they are pretty good as well. Cute simple place and with good food, we’ll be going there again for lunch date very soon.

TERRIBLE…..I don’t know who’s writing there reviews, but I cannot wrap my head around an almost 5 star restaurant and the food we received.
Ordered a fish fry asked for fries and got a baked potato, and received less than 1/4 cup coleslaw. You were able to get a soup or salad got neither, along with no desert. Another person ordered there nachos and they were poorly thrown together and the cheese was melted onto the Styrofoam in numerous places. Tasteless slop. And when I called they wanted to argue with me that I didn’t order correctly on doordash. No everything was specified in the details, you messed up.

Mind you there is a small chunk taken out of the fish, but that’s what you got for your fish fry. Also pictures of how the cheese was melted to the Styrofoam. Literally tasteless slop. If I could give no stars I would.

Wow! Filis Cafe is one of the few Cafe’s that I will travel long distance just to eat, relax and drink a cup of coffee out in there back patio.
We had French toast, Denver omelet, pancakes, and an egg burger. Pics are included.
All the food was really good. I don’t give out 5 stars very often, but Filis Cafe deserves it.
If you are in Milwaukee, go a little out of your way to visit Filis Cafe, you won’t regret it.

Very quaint little dining area, good service, always friendly. Food is very very good and portions are plentiful. Price is reasonable especially for the amount of food that you get. Very good variety of food options on their breakfast menu. It is our favorite spot for breakfast on break at work.
