Best pizza I’ve had in years!
From the very first bite, I knew this place was special. The pizza was perfectly balanced — a crisp crust with just the right amount of chew, generous toppings, and plenty of flavor in every slice. It’s the kind of pizza you think about long after you’ve finished eating.
The service was every bit as memorable. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, it felt like they truly cared that we had a great experience. There’s an authentic small-town charm here that makes you feel right at home, even if you’re just passing through.
I would happily go out of my way to come back again, and I’ll be recommending this spot to friends and family. If you’re looking for incredible pizza and genuine hospitality, this is absolutely the place to go.

We ate here on our first night in the area. Chips/Salsa and Side Salads were great! I had ribs and my wife had burger. We both wish we had tried the pizza after reading reviews and seeing pictures. The ribs were just not my thing, sauce was on the side and I did not care for the dry rub on the ribs. Overall the place looks nice and staff were friendly. We might have just ordered the wrong options for us. We will give it another try this week and have the pizza it looks really good.

We stopped here after a day on Lake Kabetogama.
Four of us split the walleye fingers, fish tacos, and a large garbage pizza.
The fish tacos were my favorite. The fry bread and sauce were wonderful. The walleye fingers were also very good. The pizza is what they’re known for, but I thought it was just ok.
The service was good and friendly. If you’re looking for a place to eat in the area, this is your spot.

The Mac and cheese was straight up disgusting. I think it might of been expired. The fries were good. I ordered chicken strips and got rid of the Mac and cheese. My whole table tried my Mac and cheese and told the server. I loved the karaoke night. The picture below is from before I ate it. I would come here again, just not for the food. The staff apologized about everything.I thought the staff were awesome.

I would leave a Zero review if I could. I walked in with my family and there was no one in the restaurant. We waited for over an hour to get our food, without any warning or explanation.
A woman who appeared to be the owner was just socializing with folks at the bar instead of helping the young waitress keep up with orders or help the cook keep up as a large influx of orders came in. At one point she spoke negatively about her cook and his not coming to get her to say he was behind… lady you have every table full and a take out order for ~12… own your business.
All of our food was immensely over cooked. Barely edible. They did not so much as offer to comp our SOFT DRINKS! Feel free to check my review history. I always just skip it when I have a bad experience but this went to the level of unprofessional. And I felt so sorry for the young waitress left to handle all of the angry diners.

With not many options close to the wooden frog campground, we knew we might be in for another unpleasant dinner but boy were we surprised. When we got in there was a large party 45+ that come there annually. We sat at the bar no problem and the bartender/waitress let us know right away there would be a wait due to the large party. Not a problem. My husband got a local cream beer and I got a “local” cider. Both were great! I asked for recommendations and the waitress spoke highly of the French dip so that’s what I ordered. My husband got the ledge burger. He had no complaints. Everything was good and no complaints.

Barmaid seemed unhappy when we sat at the bar. However she was quite nice. No food for us but the pizza looked really good.

Good food, the bartender/ server was nice and checked in a few times to make sure everything was as we wanted. The sandwich I had was good, my dad liked the ledge burger and even the smaller version was still enough to fill you up. Others with me said they liked the walleye sandwich, only thing they would change was they wished it was a little bigger but overall we all left happy and full.

This restaurant was recommended to us. We arrived and were one of two small groups in the entire place. No one to greet us and seat us. Waited almost 5 min. Had to go to the kitchen and get someone’s attention. We were told to sit anywhere. Then another long wait for server to arrive. Finally ordered and it was another 45min. Before we got our food. It was subpar and some items were cold. No refills on our water and teas. When we got our bill we got the real shock. I recommend if you try this restaurant make sure you know what the upcharges are. $90 for two sandwiches and an entree. (We added a vegetable to the entree and two onion ring orders to the sandwiches.
