they have the best soft serve ever!! and you can get it in pint or quart containers to bring home omg!! the vanilla+chocolate twist is 10/10

also their hours are currently 3pm-8pm, not 12pm-8pm they posted on facebook but they need to update their google page to show their real hours

I stopped here on a couple oddly spaced visits to the area. First visit was a twist with chocolate dip. Always fun but as with all dips the base ice cream melts quickly. 2nd stop I had a 2 scoop hard ice cream. Standard tasty hersheys ice cream. 1 scoop Apple pie and 1 scoop moose tracks. I ate my ice cream while I waited for my philly cheese steak sandwich. While not cooked on a grill as they do at “Johns Pizza” in Frazier PA (won an award for best philly cheese steak in greater Philly) this philly cheesesteak was quite good. Meat, prov cheese, onions and peppers. Had it been chopped and stirred on a grill it would be 5 stars. But for $7 it was a bargain!

It’s a good day for ice cream or so I thought. This business is under new ownership and apparently they believe in being frugal! I paid $4.00 for a small cone. I thought “Its 4 bucks but I’m sure it will be a good size” the picture shows my baby cone with barely one scoop. This will be the last dollar this business gets from us. Also there is barely a menu just some pictures of the flavors of ice cream. If your going to take over a business it needs to be better than this.

The quality of their ice cream has improved compared to last year but their portion sizes are CRAZY. I ordered a small twist in a dish and was given such a small amount. I paused when the girl handed it to me because I genuinely thought it was a joke or meant to be for a very small child. The cup felt like it was empty and I finished it in about 6 bites. My boyfriend ordered a small cone and got more ice cream than I did. Both our “smalls” came to about $7. Ive been to other ice cream shops in the area that serve the same brand of ice cream but you get at least double the amount and for less $.

Was staying in town for a softball tournament and we stopped by after our games for some food and ice cream. The onion rings and chicken tenders were awesome. They had lots of ice cream flavors to pick from and I thought the prices were pretty reasonable, too.

Cone prices went up and portions are small. A medium conde here for over 4 dollars is a small cone elsewhere. Ice cream flavor was not good. Won’t be going back.

No menu listed anywhere, it just says they have smiths hotdogs. No price listed, nothing. The girl at the counter had an attitude when I asked if they had waffle cones (also not listed anywhere!). But the ice cream was okay when we got it. We were going to have dinner and ice cream there, but with no menu we didn’t even know what the food options were.
How hard is it to make a menu? Contact me and I’ll type one up for you for $20. Barely legible chalk on a board is not a menu btw.
Glad scoops is open again!
