It would be a great experience if the bartenders knew how to make a basic drink. I have had to instruct them on numerous occasions. It’s better to hire talent than a pretty face.

My husband and I came for the alleged local drama and shenanigans. Instead, we got really great drink specials on Monday (get the “Just Another Manic Monday”) and had a wonderful time chatting with the bartender who took pride in her job.
Is this place more tavern than tiki? Sure, but it’s better than some stupid corporate bar with no character. You’ll love it. I promise. Give it a try. And tip the bartenders well!
PS – We also recommend any and all of the mojitos. So good. Fresh mint served from their garden.

Everytime I come to the Tiki, I have a wonderful experience. Everyone is so sweet and Rachel is the best bartender! She’s always fun to talk with and makes sure I’m well taken care of! 10/10!

There are pool tables and skee ball, which is cool. The beer selection want great, but they had a few craft beers on tap, they were $8. There isn’t a food menu, but they do have hot dogs and Tony’s microwave pizza. The bartenders were nice, but not great. Noticed the Trump flag on the way out.

I went on a Friday night. Light, friendly crowd and it was a pretty laid back vibe. The DJ karaoke was fun to participate in. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and security/bouncers there as well as plenty of staff so it’s an ideal safe spot, especially for women.

What a fabulous “hole in the wall joint”! It’s nice and the Bartender Jen is a hoot and a half! Friendly, wise brilliant and will make a mean strawberry jalapeno margarita! Awesome place, close friendly, content, and just a nice place to have a drink or 6!

We visited on a Tuesday night, Carless and Austin were extremely accommodating and the 5 of my friends and I had a great time. I would absolutely recommend this bar. The bathrooms were overstocked with toilet paper as well, 10/10.

Even as out-of-towners, my husband and I were made to feel like family! As soon as you walk in the door, you’re welcomed with a smile. I had the best strawberry pineapple margarita I’ve EVER had here. It’s even made with fresh fruit!
The tavern featured three pool tables and a live band. There were no Lyft or Uber drivers around to get us back to our room, but Oak Island Taxi had us covered.
