We ate here our last night in town, and I’m really disappointed we waited till then! We ordered shrimp and fish and 6 charbroiled oysters. We ate all of our oysters before our food came out and ordered 6 more! These oysters were the best thing I’ve ever eaten in my life! I gave my hubby the rest of my shrimp (which were delicious) so I could finish the oysters! There was 2 guys behind the oyster bar where we set, who were amazing! I’m pretty sure 1 was the owner and he was jumping in helping out wherever he could which I found amazing! There was a young man playing the guitar in the corner and people just singing along to his songs! The food was AMAZING the service was SUPERB and the atmosphere was so FUN! I highly recommend this place over ever restaurant I’ve tried! Thank you Ponderosa you made my last night here great!!!!

Been here multiple times and always had a great time. Amazing food and great people. Only had one bad experience yesterday when the waitress decided my buddy was too intoxicated to serve alcohol (we had just arrived). We were fine with that but it got weird when she still brought the beer, so he requested a water to sober up some. To which she replied “ no you’re fine you just need food”. So first he’s to drunk but then you serve him anyway but then deny him water when he wants to sober up. Definitely a weird situation. Still leaving a good review because the place is awesome I won’t let one bad experience affect me. Hopefully she gets better training. Thanks for the awesome oysters!
