We’ve been having Mia’s since they opened. Today’s order was terrible. The falafel was bland, the falafel salad was just cucumbers and no seasoning and seemed to be significantly smaller for $14 than previously. And to make it worse, the spinach pastries were rock hard on top. We’ll give it one more try but this was really disappointing.

We used to love eating an Mias Meals. The food was always tasty, the staff was always nice. Unfortunately now the portions of the food have gone by dramatically, there is 2 spoonfuls of hummus in the pita bowls and the tahini is so watered down you can barely taste it.

I paid $45 to pre-order a dozen sufganiyot (jelly donuts traditionally eaten at Hanukkah, for the uninitiated); they were already a little stale when I picked them up and 50% of them have no jelly inside.

Food is pretty good, came here multiple times and the food is fine but the falafel has been crunchy on the inside every time. The service is very slow and their tap to pay frequently doesn’t work. Wish they had a bigger menu, but the place is cute. I like the counter seating facing outside.

I stopped in here on a Sunday around 4pm, looking for a light and somewhat healthy meal to go with a nice day of walking and exercise.

I picked the falafel hummus, and the shawarma fries, figured I’d try both! I’m not an expert on falafel, in-fact I’ve only had it 4 times. This was the best though. The outside was crunchy, and the inside soft and moist. In the past falafel has kinda broken apart when eaten, but even bit in half it maintains its shape. The fries smelled great, and were a good ratio of crispy outside to soft inside.

The food was great, I really enjoyed it. I do have some comments though.

1: Getting both was about $20. This is a fair price I feel, but it was too much for me to eat as a single person dining. I would have loved if they did a fries combo with a smaller portion of fries as an addition to the falafel. Either that, or offer smaller portions as an option for $1-$2 cheaper. I would have paid ~$15 after tax for half portions of both as an option. As it stands now, I’ll wait to come back with a friends.

2: I’m not entirely sure how to eat the falafel hummus, I’m new to this style of food, but 1 pita bread didn’t seem like enough. I think 2 pieces would have been perfect. I ended up using the fries to pick up the extra hummus, and eating some with a fork.

Service is quick, food is good, but I’m going to wait to come back with a friend to split the food since it’s slightly too much for a mid-day meal/late lunch. That’s not a complaint really, I could have packed it to go, I’m just trying to be a bit conscious of how much I eat at a go.

I’ll be back!

Good…SHAWARMA FRIES the BEST…Parking small for F350…Dining area small

RECOMMEND the Shawarma Fries!!

Ordered:
4 Falafel Pitas
2 Shawarma Fries *SO GOOD!!!*
1 Just Balls

I guess I was expecting meat in the Falafel Pitas, but it had balls…similar to the order of Just Balls. Wondering if this is vegan?! I’ve had one in the past with meat. However, the pita bread & cucumbers(crunchy) inside was really good.

Oh man, the Shawarma Fries were really good…tasty…never had anything with this type of seasoning before!!! They were NOT soggy or bland.

The Just Balls was OK, but not my thing.

Dining area small, so we took it to go.

Parking SUCKS if you drive a Ford 350!

Very good. First time trying & I was happy it’s all Vegan and actually has Vegan tahini. I just wish they had a bigger menu but definitely will go back again. Fairly priced. Clean inside.
