LISTEN!!!! I’ve been here twice and both times my food was so fresh and delicious. It is truly a nice spot to sit and eat or even take out. I’m not sure if the cook/cashier is the owner, but he is an extremely nice and easy going Italian older gentleman that can hold a conversation and takes real pride in making the food. This is a restaurant you’ll go back to several times. Try it & rate it, you’ll regret it if you don’t

We ordered wings, pizza, fries and a chicken salad. Wings were awful. Bland. First time I ever saw my partner not finish wings. He took one bite and immediately set them aside. The chicken in the chicken salad isn’t real chicken. Pizza was one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had. Fries were ok.

Customer service honestly should’ve been my first sign to go somewhere else. When we called we had a couple questions and the person on the phone acted like we were inconveniencing him. Not friendly at all.

Will definitely not be back.

I visited Nonni’s Pizza for carryout and tried the chicken tenders. While the staff were very friendly, the food could have been better, as the tenders were slightly undercooked and lacked seasoning. It is an awesome spot in Blawnox with a nice vintage or retro theme, but the food quality didn’t quite meet expectations this time.

Absolutely love Nonni’s Pizza!
I come here often for pizza, wings, and salads — everything is always fresh, delicious, and made with care. The salads are crisp and full of flavor, the wings are cooked perfectly, and the pizza never disappoints. You can really tell that the owners take pride in what they do. It’s a true family-run place with great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely one of my favorite spots in the area!

I called to make sure they delivered to my address and yes they did. The owner called me back to make sure I was going to order. Such a nice man, of course I ordered and my pizza and Italian hoagie were really good. Good customer service makes a difference.

I’m surprised that I haven’t tried Nonni’s yet, given I used to drive by this area all the time. An acquaintance of mine recommend I stop by and even said this was his favorite pizza. I was skeptical given the relatively low ratings, but glad I gave them a try. I ordered the cheese calzone (medium) and baklava.

The calzone was fairly priced (not cheap though) for the portion. They serve it with some marinara sauce on the side and also some tomato sauce on the inside. It wasn’t too soggy but it also didn’t have much crunch. The dough was just okay. I got a few pieces of tomato skin inside the calzone, but that’s not a big deal.

The marinara sauce was subpar. I’m not sure if it is homemade. In any case, it was completely cold when we picked up the pizza. Seemed like they just took the sauce out of a jar from the fridge, not even bothering to reheat it. The cheese in the calzone was quite good, though. This ricotta was very creamy and almost spreadable; it’s not chunky or milky like in other places. Good amount of mozzarella too.

The baklava was cheap for the portion. It wasn’t very well soaked or as sweet as I would have liked it to be. Again, not sure if it is homemade (honestly doubt it, and doubt that any of the desserts are homemade but I could be wrong). But again, it’s fine for the price.

All in all, Nonni’s is an okay option for those pizza and Italian American food lovers in Blawnox. Some of the food is a bit subpar, but the prices are competitive and the food is quickly made.

As soon as the older woman answered the call she yelled at us to speak up because it’s lots of noise I read of kingly asking to speak up due to the extra noise. And I mean Literly yelled to the point where I told my partner to just hang up and not order but we continued. The food got here and my tiramisu is freezer burned, the fried shrimp is frozen from a box and the two gyros were so hard that my mouth is cut up. I didn’t bother calling for a refund cause of the angry old woman yelling at me the first time. Pls don’t order from here nothing is fresh. Even the gyro meat had a crust which means they didn’t cut off the hardened part before serving they put it straight on the sandwich. Horrible service. And if the owner sees this I want a refund for my order.

I ordered chicken parm with pasta. I asked is it a piece of chicken and pasta on the side, was told yes. I get it and it’s 5 small pieces baked into pasta. Not at all what I wanted or told what I was getting. When I called to ask what happened I was yelled at
