We haven’t been here in about a year and sadly this was our first disappointing experience…Our waitress was top notch but the food definitely was not…I ordered the quesabirria tacos and they just were not up to par as previous times we’ve had them…I also ordered A Chile rellenos and it wasn’t good…The picture is of what was supposed to be quesabirria tacos, needless to say it wasn’t right…

Extremely flavorful dishes! Hands down best birria I’ve ever experienced in my life!! The combination of spices, skilled preparation and devotion to the food they serve makes all the difference.
Service was prompt, polite and accommodating.
There was a upcharge for using credit/debit cards which seemed a bit strange to me, but it’s guess that’s the only complaint I have for pricing.
We spent $112 for 4 meals (enough food for 6 ppl to be stuffed), 2 large appetizers and an 18% tip….overall a very fair price for the quality and quantity we received in trade.
We were there right about 2 pm and the place had a steady influx of customers coming in as well as carry outs, but there was plenty of seating available.
Overall it was a clean restaurant with great service and better food!

This location has a nice setup. Waiter was sweet. Restroom was clean and smelled fresh. My steak taco had like big cubes of steak meat and wasn’t really tender. My watermelon margarita tasted too sweet.

What a great find. We came here for Cinco de Mayo. We had a large platter for 16.99 that had so many different food items to choose from. Everything came to our table, hot and fresh and tasty. The restaurant is very friendly and has a nice atmosphere, and a very friendly weight staff. we will be back again very good

I love La Potosina! It’s my new favorite restaurant in Watseka and Iroquois County! The food is excellent, and although the service is sometimes slow, everyone is super friendly. The only thing that I think would make the restaurant better is if they had live music on a regular basis. It’s still the best salsa anywhere in town and I will probably continue to eat there at least twice a month.

Food always amazing, been coming here since you opened. Y’ALL DUST THE PLACE! the duct work is black pipe but grey with fur, the peppers on the wall were green but now grey with dust, same with the chandeliers and everything on the walls. Cob webs in the windows etc. your service and food is stellar, clean the place up a bit it’s getting pretty gross.

Came during lunch and it was amazing food was hot and fresh and so filling.
My plate in the photo was there enchilada Supreme with rice. It was so good with the chicken beef and cheese. We got seated very quickly and with the three of us (my partner and his child) the server was very kind and got us set with chips salsa and our drinks. The witing time was about 10-15 mins with hot food!
The kiddo had the kids plate #1 the beef enchilada and her only complaint was that it was spicy but it was so good and ate the whole thing.
