I recently visited Bruster’s Ice Cream – Valrico, FL and had an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in (or drove up), I was greeted by friendly staff who were enthusiastic and helpful. The store has a warm, welcoming vibe and spotlessly clean facilities.
The ice cream itself is top-tier — they handcraft fresh flavors daily, and it shows. I tried the Birthday Cake and Sea Salt Caramel flavors, each scoop was creamy, rich, and full of real flavor. Their waffle cones were crisp and freshly baked. I also appreciated that they offer non-dairy oat milk flavors and no-sugar-added options, making it easy for everyone to find something delicious.
What stood out most was the service. The staff took the time to explain flavor options, offered generous samples, and made sure each order was perfect. They handled the ordering process efficiently, even during busier times, which made the visit smooth and enjoyable.
In short: beautiful ambiance, outstanding ice cream, friendly and attentive staff — this location of Bruster’s is a gem. I’ll absolutely be returning and recommending it to friends and family. If you’re in Valrico and craving something sweet and satisfying, don’t skip this spot!

My scooper was Juliana, and she was awesome—so sweet and made my visit really fun. She gave to best recommendation (Peanut Butter Sunday) The ice cream was amazing, but her great service made it even better. Definitely coming back soon! Thank you Juliana!

My FAVORITE ice cream spot in the area!!!
Whether it’s me and my family or just me and my daughter, we ALWAYS look forward to coming here! Such a large variety of different delicious ice creams. The staff is always friendly. Not to mention, the drive thru is always so convenient especially when I have tired babies in the car that just want a scoop.
The real reason why I’m writing this review is because I LOVE the strawberry mango sorbet and I found out today that it was seasonal. I literally crave one every-time I pick up my daughter from school and to find out it’s not going to be around long is sad! It’s so perfectly refreshing for the summer time, especially in Florida being that it’s hot all year long, so to have it for just a month isn’t enough time to really enjoy it! And I’m honestly surprised with how popular that chili lime strawberry mango flavor is for it not to be around longer. I hope that changes.. but despite that, Brusters definitely has a forever customer in me! 10/10

Chocolate shakes here are terrible. They dont blend the ice cream throughly, they give you a flimsy straw, and the ice cream has frost bite.

My family and I used to love coming here, but for a while now the service hasn’t been the same as before. The service is terrible, they take too long to serve you and not only that, but they also don’t serve you the amount of ice cream they used to serve you before. Now they barely serve you any ice cream and if you order a brownie they serve it cold and they don’t even put the syrup on it and the prices are still just as expensive. Unfortunately, my family and I decided not to go back to this place. We have found a better place to have ice cream and where they serve us properly.

Service was quick and friendly, but the ice cream wasn’t good. 4 different flavors among us and none tasted right- chocolate peanut butter had no chocolate taste, sea salt caramel only tasted like salt, and the cotton candy had no flavor at all.
But the Italian ice and sorbets were good, the Italian ice were delicious.

The ice cream is good and the staff is always nice but the price of ice cream is so expensive. A tiny cup is close to $6. Add ons are extra. I’ll probably buy a gallon at the store from now on. Other places are similar priced but you do get more for your money. I’d go back if they were a normal price. This size should be $3.

The owner is very nice! Service was great even with the pressures of a hurricane Ian coming through. Ice cream is delicious! This will be our new spot! & the plus side it has a drive thru!! We got the New York strawberry cheesecake pie all I can say is OMG!
