The burritos are delicous!!!
Stop everytime we come through post.
The drive thru, one man operation gives you special attention to what you want. As others have said it is worth the wait.
Tried the ham/cheese/egg, chorizo/cheese/egg & carne asada… all flavorful in different ways.
Definitely would stop by again.
May God continue to bless this hard working man & his business.
Whether to Snyder to work a rig
To Aspermont to see a doctor
To Hamlin to buy mesquite for BBQ
To Alan Henry to fish with my boys
To Gustine to visit my ranch
To Stephenville for an awesome steak
I pass through here a lot, and usually call ahead to have my burritos ready when I arrive.
This guy works hard, everything is fresh and tasty.
I’m so glad that I stumbled across this place years ago.
And he was not wrong. We devoured the Carne Guisada and Piccadillo burritos. Don’t judge the “ book by the cover”, this little place is perfect for refueling to or from Lubbock or wherever the road may take you as you pass through Post,TX
While road tripping through the Big Empty, we stumbled upon Post, TX as a layover point. Upon your glowing review, we decided to try Aguascalientes for breakfast. We got to the window and asked the gentleman what his best breakfast item was. He casually and confidently answered “everything”. He wasn’t wrong. We tried the chorizo & egg (with beans and cheese), the potato & egg (con beans and cheese), and a Barbacoa with cilantro and onions. We pulled over into a fuel station parking lot to devour the tacos grandes (burritos) like a pair of hyenas.. I don’t need to tell you how delicious they were, but I can tell you that you were right. After scarfing down these life altering burritos from Aguascalientes, we also do not miss your cheating wife, your kids, or your Honda. These burritos were better than all three. Thank you sir for the heads up about the tiny burrito house in Post, TX, and God Bless the Patron Saint of Texas Breakfast Tacos who owns Aguascalientes.
