Home away from home! A well established local bar off the beaten path. Non-pretenscious, welcoming staff. Excellent service, conversation, and food. Definitely recommend the fried pickles and Moon Glo burger! No draft beer but good selection of bottled to choose from. Best dinner choice we could have made. Thank you!

Headed to Indianapolis from Springfield and a buddy says Hey I used to work around here about a decade ago and there was a amazing little bar out in the middle of nowhere but had the best steaks ever. We do our thing in Indianapolis and decide on the way back that we’re gonna find that bar! The Moon Glo was it! We pull into the lot and the most amazing smell of steaks cooking on open pit charcoal filled the air… our mouths were watering! We walk into this unassuming looking little bar and are greated by cheerful Hello’s from 2 waitresses. She sat us immediately at a great little table on the far side of the room. The menu was very clear and she took our orders. I ordered the 22oz sirloin, my buddies got the 18oz ribeye and the pork chop special and thw burgers. The salad bar was just that, a straight forward salad. Our steaks went right on the grill as we were up getting our salads. Just as we were done eating our salads the food came out. Now I’m not promising you are gonna get the same steak I had but I promise you my steak was WELL over 22oz!!! Look at that picture!!! It was the WHOLE plate! That’s Texas toast next to it!!! It was cooked to perfection! Everything about the experience was perfection! They had all kinds of a different drink options and she checked on us more than enough times over the course of dinner! Anywhere else I’d have been in WAY over $50 for the steak I had… not here. Go Eat Here!

Tough one overall. Waitress was awesome. Ordered a tenderloin and mushrooms. Mushrooms were tasty. Tenderloin was burnt. Told the waitress and it was taken off the bill. The owner came out and wanted to argue why I should like the burnt tenderloin. I was not pleased at owners attitude. The reason for two stars was I put $5.00 in the video poker machine and won $107.00.

Ordered a huge amount of food for lunch at work. Ordering was easy and Angel was so helpful in the phone! As ALWAYS, the food was amazing! Best burger- juicy and delicious. Sides are great too-especially the cauliflower. The owner brought our food so fast and everything was hot!

Oh and special mentions for the Tomatoes in the burgers fresh out the owners garden! Tastes devine.

The food was decent. The prices were quite ridiculous considering the location inside a $100/night hotel. A simple grilled fish, veggies and mash and a single tequila should not be $44, in my opinion. The taste and portions were hearty, but not worth US prices especially given the atmosphere consisting of plastic table covers and a chipping mural. This place definitely does the job, but make sure to check the prices!! Servers were kind and the food was nicely presented, but not worth the cost.
