I have to give a huge shoutout to Ashley at the sandwich shop! I’m new to the area and honestly didn’t know what to order, but she made the whole experience so easy and welcoming.
When I asked for a recommendation, she didn’t just throw something out there — she asked all the right questions. Based on a quick conversation, she built me the most delicious sub I’ve had in a long time.
It’s rare to find someone who’s both that knowledgeable and that warm. Ashley made a great first impression of the neighborhood for me. I’ll absolutely be back — and I’ll probably just let her surprise me again next time!

What a surprise! Stopped in for lunch. Sandwiches are delicious. Boars head cold cuts, bread was tasty, sandwich is season well. I am always cautious when getting deli sandwiches outside of NY but these really exceeded expectations!! Will definitely be back!

One of the best sandwiches I have had in a long time! We ordered three sandwiches, the turkey, the Italian, and the roasted eggplant. We had to wait a couple extra minutes for the eggplant. He said he wanted to grill it to perfection . Well it was ! Because My wife raved about how amazing it was. Everything was delicious. We will definitely eat there a time or two before we go home.

Literally had one of the best cheese STEAK sandwiches I’ve had in my entire life. Definitely the best cheese steaks that I’ve had down in Delray Beach, Florida Mike, the owner takes pride in his sandwiches and he gets DELICIOUS bread. He’s Italian….you gotta trust an Italian with good bread! His menu has breakfast sandwiches as well they’re all delicious! And The Beach is right here! Get it to go! You’ll want to thank me, But it’s not necessary, just enjoy the food!

I went into the store before noon and it was relatively quiet. I complimented the (presumed) owner on his great number of good choices. I did not get a response. I decided to order a Cuban sub and when I asked if it was soft bread I got a gruff “it’s on a sub roll pressed”. I paid for my sandwich and was told “we”ll call you when I t’s ready”. I stepped back to wait. Another lad tried to order a sandwich on a specific type of roll and was told in the same gruff attitude that it was not available that way. She ended up not ordering. He turned to me and said “Yours will take 8 minutes, we will call you when it’s ready” with a look outside. I guess I was being asked to wait outside. While waiting a number of other customers walked in and some did not order anything – I wonder why. Finally I was called back into the store and was given my sandwich.
The sandwich itself was good but I prefer it on non toasted bread but I guess I could not order it that way. It was tasty and flavorful. The meat was a bit tough and chewy.

Haven’t even received my food, came in with a good attitude hoping to receive the same. Was met with standoffish borderline mad energy. This sub could taste like heaven and probably would not come back here anyway.

Sandwiches by the sea has to by far be the best sandwich shops I have been to. The shop is run by individuals from New Jersey who have a local distributor for their bread and it feels like I am back home every time I step in. The customer service is amazing and always such good vibes, and the sandwiches are huge and so so fresh. There are so many options to choose from and it is so quick to be in and out of there. It is at a perfect spot by the beach, great environment and all around best people. Whenever my family comes to visit it is mandatory that we get lunch or dinner from there eat least once!
