This is undoubtedly the finest Halal food I’ve experienced in quite some time. It was my first visit, and I ordered it via DoorDash. I can genuinely say that the samosas are large, and considering their price, it’s quite reasonable. The lamb gyro is delightful, and I can tell it was prepared with care. I will definitely return to this little gem.

I have been driving by this food truck for several months now and finally got a chance to stop for a bite to eat. Let me tell you something: it was a delicious bite, indeed! Shaz Halal Food is a locally owned and operated food truck parked at the Citgo at 1103 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405. It is brightly painted yellow and has its name and food decals plastered on it, so it’s hard to miss. More importantly, the food is delicious and the service is friendly. Shaz specializes in NYC Famous Kabobs and Gyro Platters, and they have a pretty extensive menu. If you need halal food or great vegetarian options, this is a great solution for you. Today I tried the #1, chicken and rice. It was a bit spicy, but that white sauce calmed everything down nicely. The portion size is overly adequate and gives me enough for dinner tonight. The food is cooked fresh when you order, and you can use cash or credit (for $1.00 up charge). All in all, I am very pleased to have found a new restaurant that serves fresh, specialized cuisine. I highly recommend Shaz Halal Food. When you go by, tell them Kindra Speech sent ya!

Found them on Facebook while searching for halal food and decided to give them a try after seeing numerous awesome reviews & im so glad i did. Very friendly, with fair prices and the food was delicious, I had the chicken and lamb over rice and the lamb gyro. Very nice portions I was able to share between myself & 2 kiddos! It may look like alot o f sauce but once mixed with the rice it’s a perfect balance!! Will be back soon ☺️

Food was good, no complaints at all. We tried Combo (lamb & chicken) over rice [item # 03] & Philly Cheese Steak [item # 24]. Both were awesome! Specially the Philly Cheese Steak. The bread was toasted over the griddle with butter. The ingredients were fresh. The combo over rice was good too but the amount of meat was less. Though it’s not a complain, it just a desire (more meat)! My only concern was the environment, as people around there were smoking weeds & they didn’t show any respect that we had couple of infants! Price was fair enough.

They catered a big event for us, and they were amazing. They were great to work with and had options for all the dietary restrictions our guests had. Everything went smoothly. We also eat at the food truck casually all the time because the food is delicious!
